We did just get a random email about an NOA, but only for the employment authorization. I guess we will just have to wait to see what happens with the rest.

my medical center just called me. uscis has added a new test for the medical screening (gonorrhea). I did my test in august and my medical center did not do the test yet. now i have to go back to the medical center. has anyone made the same experience? how does it affect my status?

Hi Annie,

I'm assuming they would give you a completely new sealed envelope since they missed a test. Since your package is sent already I'd most likely wait and see if you get an RFE later down the line for the medical. If you do, you can then respond to it with the newly sealed medical exam and a cover letter.

You can't sent it in you have to wait and see if you get an interview. I don't even think you'll get an RFE for it but you'll have to wait and see and even if you do get an RFE they might just ask you to bring it with you.

Has your check been cleared? ... 12 days is okay to wait sucks but still within the time frame hopefully you hear something this week.

Hey everybody! a quick tip for those doing early walk ins for the bio-metrics! go very early to your respective office and when it's your turn to go up front just turn in the appointment letter, a photo ID and don't say a word!! that's what I did and apparently they didn't care or didn't see the date :whistle: they even scanned the bar codes in the appointment letter and I got my bio-metrics just like the others in line.

I've been reading the last posts and apparently we are the only couple that have received an RFE so far, USCIS received our documents on Sep 9th and sent us the RFE on Oct 1st.

has someone received a NOA2 or RFE? it's weird the went through our documents in less than a month.

Our AOS Journey:

09/02/2016- Sent AOS Paperwork to Chicago lockbox (I-485, I-765, I-131)

09/05/2016- Paperwork received by Chicago lockbox

09/08/2016- NOA1 Texts Received

09/10/2016- NOA1s received in the mail

09/24/2016- Received biometrics letter in the mail for October 3, 2016

09/30/2016- Biometrics completed (walk-in, Tukwila)

10/01/2016- Notice of Request for Initial Evidence via text (I-485)

10/06/2016- Received RFIE in the Mail for I-864, Sent back response

10/12/2016- RFIE Received by USCIS

10/25-26/2016- Approval and Card Being Produced for EAD/AP

11/04/2016- Case Status changed to 'Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview'

11/07/2016- Case Status changed to ' Card was Mailed To Me'

No I used cashiers checks. But since they contacted my medical center they got the paperwork. But apparently didn't accepted it?
