Sometimes, for some reason, they miss entering the email/text notifications and you don't receive them at all. Best thing to do is wait for the hardcopy NOA and once the case status is available online, create an account, link/save your case numbers to your account and turn on email/text notifications yourself.

Yes you could of typed in 1 wrong number, and that will mess everything up...... Im sure your fine, so easy to hit the wrong digit, nerves are on overload in the process.

Later today in few hours, just check it again... for peace of mind.

I called USCIS, and my receipt number would not work, but I see my cases on line, and yes I tried it twice to make sure I did not hit wrong number. So don't know why the phone line wont accept my receipt number.

When I called them, it first didn't work for me either but then I figured out you have to also type in the numbers on your phone that reflect the three letters that your receipt number starts with. So if it's MSC then you first press 672 and then your receipt number.

BINGO, it worked, thank you.... Now holding to see when receipts were sent along with any info on the Bio letter and correct address.

Yup I received no texts or emails either but got my NOA1 either way through snail mail. Attorney did not receive any texts or emails either - only hard copies.

Did my walk-in today at the Downtown Los Angeles ASC (Yelp has bad reviews for them but it was pretty straightforward...although it took a while - about 1 hour).

With my completed biometrics paper in hand, walked a block over to the Congressman's office to resubmit my EAD Expedite request and they were super helpful once again. Will let you guys know how it goes!

Have an actual job offer in hand and demonstrate financial hardship (I submitted my wife's student loans as proof). I then talked to my local congressman's office and they were willing to help me put in an expedite request.

Anyone from California who applied for a drivers license with NOA for AOS as supporting docs? I already have my SSN in my married name but DMV is asking for proof of immigration status.

Hi Cristina, did the DMV give you a hassle? I was planning to take my wife to apply for an ID at least with the NOA document since that's one of the documents on their list that they accept.

Other than that we would have to wait for the actual EAD I guess.

Nothing in todays mail. Going to give it one more day, then call again and insist on speaking to someone higher.

Info Pass appointment says nothing for 14 days, to check back again tomorrow. I afraid we will miss our Bio appoinment

What is I hear about, some people telling others to ask for Tier 2 ??
