It is 12 days now and no NOA, electronic or paper. I am concerned because for some reason, whenever I do paperwork of any kind, the place I turn it in to loses it multiple times. Things that take other people a month on average take me almost a year because of lost paperwork.

I don't believe this, I called, entered my receipt number for the I-=485 and it says not enough digits, so I checked the number in my email of the receipts, and I wrote them down correctly, and still the USCIS system don't accept them. Strange , as I can see my cases on their website...... will call again.

And I bet they will be in the mail today, stressing for nothing most likely.

Did you track on package you sent USCIS, to see if received?

They got my paperwork on September 23. I tracked it with USPS. Havent heard anything from them. Seems like sometimes it takes a little longer. I wonder when we should call them and ask whether they accepted it or not.

I am so confused right now. I looked up my case numbers and it said it was rejected because it was improperly filed. I looked at the others (EAD and AP) and then went back to I-485 and it says it has received my fingerprint fee and the rejection text is gone... I am so confused and scared at the moment.

Call them now. Sounds like they posted incorrect information on your case, then corrected it, best to call them to make sure all is okay

I filed the documents with my husbands last name. All my passport copies i94 etc have my maiden name on it. Could that be a problem?

I only received text notifications, no texts, which is strange, as I put my email down on the forms too.

I think one persone wrote that they only got mail no emails at all

Call them now. Sounds like they posted incorrect information on your case, then corrected it, best to call them to make sure all is okay

I have called the USCIS number and through an automated voice you can get the latest updates on your case number. The automated voice said that my fingerprint fee has been received and that they send me the I-797C per mail (which I already received) and that they are working on the case and in the end the voice says that this is the latest update on my case so should be fine right? Maybe I typed it wrong or something, that could literally be the only explanation I guess.

Yes you could of typed in 1 wrong number, and that will mess everything up...... Im sure your fine, so easy to hit the wrong digit, nerves are on overload in the process.

Later today in few hours, just check it again... for peace of mind.

I called USCIS, and my receipt number would not work, but I see my cases on line, and yes I tried it twice to make sure I did not hit wrong number. So don't know why the phone line wont accept my receipt number.
