When you fill out the form at the appointment you must list the old name there. You won't have problem.

My wife had to show her marriage certificate, so take that!

Yay so we got our NOA's September 30th. I knew the mail man was late. :)

Our mailiman must be loss then, cause nothing came today. So I checked our copy of the entire petitions. and made sure the apartment number was on the forms, and it was.

I really dont care about the hardcopies of the NOA's 1 X 3, but worried for a late or non excistance Bio letter. May call USCIS Tuesday if nothing comes Monday.

I know! Less than a month lol but I have a feeling it was for my I-864. Even though I triple-checked everything, I forgot to add supporting documents for it...booooo!!! :sleepy: if it's not that, then I don't know what it may be for.

My husband and I were just talking about that, at least we have it early on in the process and we can get things resolved quickly. I hope this process goes by fast besides this RFE. And the good thing is, I was reading the USCIS website, and it says that if the RFE for initial evidence is for the I-485, the "clock" for the employment authorization won't start over, it will just stop until they receive our evidence. My husband is relieved because he really wants to work. :cry::clock:

Did you make a complete exact copy of all you sent in? If so, check it carefully, could be a forgotten signature.

Hi everyone,

I received my biometrics appointment notice letter today :) My appointment will be October 11th in Fort Worth :dancing:

Just a quick question about that though. I filled in all the forms with my new married name and in the letter it mentions that you have to bring a form of identification such as your passport or driving licence, but both of those documents have my "old" name on it. Will this be a problem?

Bring your passport and copy of marriage certificate.. All form should be on your married name. That's what I did.

Anyone from California who applied for a drivers license with NOA for AOS as supporting docs? I already have my SSN in my married name but DMV is asking for proof of immigration status.

Great news! Biometrics appointment received. Scheduled for 10/12. I will try to do an early walk in tomorrow as that date may not work for me. Thing is my field office in New Jersey doesn't have the best track record when it comes to walk ins. I will go with God and a smile and see what happens.
