I filed September 9th, received my NOAs on the 12th, but I have no priority date -- anyone know what's up with that? I can't seem to find an answer on the forums.

The priority date will be on the NOAs they mail to you.

I got the NOAs in the mail, and the NOA for the I-485 has a spot that says "Priority Date" but it's blank.

Hi everyone, I got my receipt notice for I-485 on 23rd Sept.

However, the last name and the address were spelled wrong.

I called to correct them and got the referral number.

But when i check my status on the website, it says that the request is currently not assigned to processing. its been like this for 6 days already.

Does anyone has an idea how long it takes? are they gonna send me a new corrected receipt notice? is this gonna delay the process?

Timeline

Hi All,

I submitted my AOS application by mail on August 30th. The documents were received on September 2. My NOAs which were received September 16 said 09/02 is my priority date.

I noticed that Christina2016 has a similar timeline and has received biometrics appointment already, I haven't.

I called uscis office and was told that my field office is processing applications for August 31st.

I'm just a little...nervous...I hope it comes soon.

Yes we have the same timeline :). The Biometrics letter may depend on the loads of your local USCIS/ ASC. We are actually thinking San Diego can be busy but I am

glad we received our letter 1week after we rcvd NOA1. As soon as you rcvd your letter, try to walk-in on your assigned USCIS/ ASC.

Some mentioned that you can actually go to any ASC but we went to the ASC assigned to us. ASC assigned is based on your address.

I actually have seen some AOS August filers that don't have their Bio letter yet. Please check your local USCIS processing times of AOS.

My priority date is blank too. Don't worry about it, you don't really need priority dates. Priority dates are actually the date when they received the packet. I have seen Priority dates on I-130. So when you will check your local USCIS processing time, your basis is your received date.

It has been 8 days since our paperwork was delivered to the Chicago Lockbox and we haven't heard a thing. It is frustrating when we so many people on this website at least getting the electronic notification before that time. It seems like whatever we do, something goes wrong, so it wouldn't surprise me if they lost the paperwork or something like that...

Also, how do you put a timeline on your posts like a lot of you do?

Thanks

Hi! Don't worry, I received my texts/ email notice 2 weeks from the date we mailed our packet/ 10 days from receipt date. Yours will come soon :)

The timelines under our posts can be edited on the Signature.

Go to your My Profile - Edit my profile - click on Signature / edit my signature. The you can type your timeline. Save :)

I requested an expedite of AP based on severe financial loss to my employer.

It has been 7 days since first requested and I just received the following response...

"We received your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly."

Does anyone have any experience or read anywhere what this could mean?

Thank you

AP is for traveling do you mean you did the EAD expedite?

It just means that they are looking into it and when they are done they will let you know.

I already am authorized to work from DACA. Now with my aos my employer needs me to travel outside the country hence the expedite for AP.

I've read multiple positive and negative stories on expedite... but I'm hoping for the best.
