Super hopeful thinking but maybe if this is a problem that is happening to everyone they might let it slide if everything else is perfect... fingers crossed!

If we do get an RFE for this will it delay getting work authorization?

I do not belive that they look at the I-864 for AP or the EAD, so you should be okay on that front.

Did you guys even use Additional Info? Because I didnt even send that page in, I was done after Part 8, didn't have a interpreter, preparer, or additional info

It's generally a good idea to send all pages of forms in.. even if you don't have anything to add for those pages.

Yep, I sent in the full 7 pages of the I-864 EZ form even though I had no additional information nor any preparers or interpreters.

I filled out the regular I-864, and the 3 last pages are literally pointless, heard from other people they didn't send those in, so I didn't lol

Hm. Interesting. I guess I figured without those pages that the adjudicators have no way of knowing if you intentionally didn't send them or if they were lost. But if it worked out for others then that's good.

Well as long as it won't affect the EAD card I can live with a RFE and just send in a new I-864

The RFE is all going to lie in the hands of the adjudicator that gets our individual case... if it passes his/her check then we're good, but if not... RFE it is.

Take a look at this USCIS tip sheet... looks like the "clock" stops at the issuance of an RFE for initial evidence regarding the I-485 and then will restart once the RFE response is received.

Well, I pulled my duplicate copy of my packet, turns out on last page did have my name, BUT....... I put my birthdate where my husbands should of been..... kicking myself.

I know of people who have gotten RFE's for medical info (they didn't send any) along with their I-485 months and months after their AP and EAD had already been approved and issued. So I guess it may go either way?

Yes, it's all going to depend on the adjudicator that handles our case I believe. Maybe they won't notice the missing name in the form until after the EAD/AP gets approved, in which case, it would be the best scenario for us.

Maybe the adjudicator won't know the "rules" to the tee and will have our EAD/AP issued even though we get an RFE... or who knows, all scenarios are possible! LOL

But at least we can be prepared in either case

I'm waiting patiently for my NOAs... I'd be expecting a total of 9 NOAs (one K-1, two K-2s, each with AOS/EAD/AP)

Update on our Biometrics walk-in: Successful!

The whole process only took less than 10mins for myself and 2 K2s.

We went to ACS Broadway, Chula Vista, SD, CA

Went there past 3pm.

Now more waiting..

Anybody got rfe for i485??? Am wondering what they want? I didn't send a i864 cause I need a joint sponsor n my husband didn't work 2013 n 2014 n part so I he didn't file tax for those years I think that's what they want am worried I only got the text message today so am waiting for it

I am sure that is what they want. I-864 is required for AOS. Even if you have a joint sponsor your husband will have to fill one out as well as he is the primary sponsor.
