Wow. I always assumed it would be sent to the local office. And there's no way to find out where your case goes unless you get some sort of update like an RFE? D: It doesn't say anything in the NOA?

The noa Will say it's at the NBC. If is goes to someplace else, they won't really tell you though

Yes you Can still call for those and yes you can do a walk in

For a early walk-in, you can theoretically go to any center that does biometrics.

Got our Biometrics notice for Oct 5 last night. Notice was dated Sept 17. We will try to do walk-in at Chula Vista tomorrow Sept 26.

Filed September 3rd, they received the package on September 6th, NOA1 on September 16th and got my biometrics appointment yesterday for October 7th in Brooklyn =)

Tried an early walk in but was unsuccessful. Apparently the Brooklyn office is booked to capacity every day for the next few weeks so the manager was super kind and just said there was no point in coming back and forth because the chance of going in is so slim. So guess lll wait for next Friday

Yes, within a few weeks you will receive a notice to appear at your local USCIS office to have your fingerprints and picture taken.

Hey guys, does anyone know around how long it takes for the i-131 to come back with a decision? Just because my husband wanted to see his family for Christmas and we filed it, but we aren't sure if we should buy tickets yet or not.
