We were not asked for ours, but I think you should definitively take it with you. You wouldn't want to sit there without it.

My husband was approved! We had our interview on the 16th, so a few days ago. When we arrived there were a lot of people there with lawyers, so I started getting nervous haha the IO was strict and asked a lot of a questions but it was worth it! Now we are just waiting for him to receive his green card in hand. So we will have relief for a year and 3/4 :P

I am still waiting to hear about my application. I filed mine on September 16th 2016. I got my biometrics done in October and EAD in November. However there has been radio silence since then. Anyone from September still waiting?

I submitted a case inquiry a week back, but havent heard anything yet. When I call them, the automated message said my case in Lee's Summit MO. Shouldnt it be at a local office? We did move since we filed our application, and all 3 applications show correct address (I got the EAD at the new address).

Still waiting as well, filed September 22, 2016, Bio in Oct, EAD in Dec, nothing since....

Hi, my timeline is very similar to yours. filed Sept 27th, bio in Oct, EAD in Dec and nothing else since. I called but they told me to wait. Do you mind keeping me posted since our timeline are very similar? I'll do the same.

I file a month before you and just got approved on the 9th so hopefully not much longer (unless you are in line for interview)

Absolutely! It's encouraging that many other Sept filers on this thread have gotten interviews or approvals already, but sad because mine hasn't changed at all! I wonder if it's because we are not adjusting from a K-1, what are you adjusting to?

In my case, I am not adjusting from a K-1 and still waiting. I called them as well, but they said to wait. I think K-1 to Green card is a lot faster.

We are in the same situation. Not adjusting from K-1 seems like it takes longer. We live in NYC and there's about a 10-11 month wait time for an interview so we are hoping to be interviewed by August.

Mine is a rare one. I'm adjusting from a student visa because I got adopted by a U.S citizen. My lawyer said it can take up to 11-12 months but I hope it'll be done before the summer

That can't be said it really depends on a lot of things.

If people have an interview or not and if yes then how long the wait is at the local office. Some have a month wait and others have a year wait.

Oh my lawyer said that typically the post K1 process tends to be faster and most of them dont need interviews. I didnt need the K1 visa, since I am already on H1B, so it didnt apply to us.
