Hi all,

Have been lurking these forums for a few months now, but this is my first post! Hoping I can contribute to the community now that I have submitted my AOS.

I was religiously following the August 2016 Filers thread as we originally submitted my AOS package on the 18th of August...however, we were rejected on account of a foolish mistake, so after re-submitting our NOA1 sits at September 8th, 2016.

Most disappointing event thus far was definitely receiving our package back in the mail, but I have to say, it felt really good getting the NOA1 Text and Email to confirm we are now on the right track.

Can I ask what you did wrong? I'm sending my package next week and I'm super nervous lol, maybe it's something that could help other people :)

ROC/N400

12/01/18... I751 mailed to Dallas Lockbox 

12/04/18... Package delivered 

12/07/18... Received text message with case number 

01/22/19... Reiceved 18 months extension in mail

11/04/19... Bio done at Tampa Office 

11/06/19... Fingerprint Review was Completed

Of course you can ask! We submitted the wrong fee for our combination of forms. $1070 instead of $1490. So it was a bit brutal getting the double whammy of a rejected application and having to scrounge together $420 more.

Double and triple checked everything except the fee, apparently.

Am I d only one that haven't received biometric letter n the rest of my noa1 wow worried I think my landlord is playing evil cause we r suppose to move on the 20th sigh am a nervous reck

Now looking to the AOS but my fiancee handed the envelope containing her I693 and medical records to the agent at SFO POE and we don't have copies. Does the agent send the health package to USCIS? Will we have to get her another medical exam and fill out a new I693 as part of the AOS application package?

I was wondering this, too. But I thought it was okay because it'll say "Medical Attached" in the visa? So I assumed they'd just keep it in their records.

When The medical is done outside the USA they do not use a i693. The doctor who performed her medical should have given her a copy of her ds3025, which is the vaccination supplement. If she doesn't have that, I'd give the doctor a call and ask for a copy.

Go to the main aos forum and search for a pinned thread where it explains if you need the i693 and such.

Hello everyone!

We sent our AOS packet out on the 9th of September and are still waiting on a text/email confirmation that the application was received but it's been quiet so far..

We sprung for the tracking on the package but then of course lost... the tracking number...

I guess we just have to hold tight and hope for the best~
