Got an update on our case yesterday, AOS was approved and card is under production :D This is after having the case status stuck on finger prints fee received since September, so for anyone stuck with no updates, it might be good news in the end! We didn't send any evidence with the application also, just the minimum that was being asked for. We did send a lot of evidence for the K1 process.

Good luck for everyone, I hope you get good news soon too!

Should be New York since I live in Brooklyn. Seems like my case just stayed in Nebraska.

Heres an update on my case: I finally received my greencard in the mail this Friday Feb 24. I got my interview notice for a Feb 1st interview date in December. My husband and I had booked flight tickets for travel on Jan 29 2017 internationally to see visit extended families. We decided to rebook our tickets to Feb 2nd. We went to the interview. The interviewing officer was very nice. We only got asked 2 questions in Detroit: How did you meet and asked to see any bonafides. We showed our bank statements and pictures. Than it was to the funny questions to me: Are you a spy, etc ect..

However, the doctor that did my medical examination messed up on filling out my medical examination so I was told that I cannot be approved until I resubmit a new medical examination in a sealed interview. She knew that we were traveling the next day so she made an exception and told me to go to my doctor and gave me until 4pm to return the same day so she could stamp my passport for an approval. She gave me a same day return slip. She also told me to fight for my money back on the medical and stated that these examinations can be very expensive. She told me verbally that my case will be approved as soon as I get the doctor to sign off on the missing section and if I couldnt do it the same day we can mail it. She also had the both of us sign the removal of conditions notice and explained how to remove condition on the greencard.

We rushed to the center where I did the medical and low behold, the doctor no longer worked there and they didnt have a civil surgeon at the location. I was furious and frustrated.  I asked for my money back and the receptionist refused. All i got was "thats ridiculous that they are only giving you until 4pm today and we cant give you your money back because the doctor filled out the form, it was just incorrect". Finally, the manager came in and told me that she will drive all my documents to the other center and get a new medical form, however it wont be done by 4pm. I gave up and decided to pick it up the next morning before our flight and mail it into the Detroit office. We left for our trip the next day and mailed next day service with the notice the interviewing officer gave us. On Feb 17, I received text messages and email updates that my case was updated while I was overseas. To my surprise, my case was approved and that my new card was being produced. I got another update text and email on Feb 22 that my new card had mailed. Our flights back to Detroit were on Feb 23. We got back at 1pm on Feb 24th, and the mailman delivered my greencard the same day I returned. I used my advance parole to re-enter. No questions asked and they were able to use the rentry permit, look my fingerprints and the system told them I had a permanent residence status.
