So we received our Notice for interview for March 3rd. This includes the list of what we need to bring during the interview. Sadly, we are required to submit form I-693. We did our medical exam in my home country but of course due to the long process of AOS from the time we did the medical, it was  more than a year. So another expense for us.

Anyone here who did the i-693 and how much it cost? I searched the civil surgeon near us using our zipcode on the USCIS website, is that how you find your civil surgeon to do the medical again? We are from San Diego, CA. Thanks guys for any info.

I'm in Chicago and the prices ranged from $300 - $500. And yes that's exactly how I found a civil surgeon. I called a few places and some covered the price of the vaccines and bloodwork and others didn't so make sure to ask. If you have medical insurance that will only cover vaccines. Make sure you take your immunization records if you have any, if not be prepared to be sore for the next couple of weeks ? At the end they'll give you a sealed envelope, take that with you to the interview. Let me know if you have more questions.

Approved on the spot at USCIS Detroit today :D The CO said it could be 4-6 weeks before the GC arrived though.... Sounds long compared to what I've seen on here before...?

Congrats! :) Think it's just a standard so it will probably be there a lot faster then that.

Our case is also supposedly still at the NBC, but our local field office isn't on the list on the website. I just try to go off the closest one to that but it could be not at all accurate. Does anyone have experience with trying to get processing times for a field office that isn't listed there? I don't think we are delayed yet, but we have zero clue on how quickly/slowly they are moving.

Why should it be a mistake? I have seen this happen before. If you are in doubt you can call or make an infopass to be sure.

But other then that you just have to wait for a new letter with new interview appointment comes in the mail.

Hi i am an August filer but since they messed up my address and did my biometrics almost a month later, I might now be in the september timeline...

Did anybody from San Francisco get an interview notice yet? I want to travel in June but I am scared that the interview will be in summer...

Also, can we call after 6 months of filling or is it still normal processing time?

Tia and good luck everyone

Card being produced for the GC guys. No change from Fingerprints received in September to suddenly being produced now, no interview! Very surprised as I was sure we'd messed up somehow with all the paperwork, missed a signature or something! Hope for a quick approval for everyone!
