You have to look at the timelines for your local office. When it has passed that time then you can make a service request for outside normal processing times other then that all you can do is wait. Okay, so I go by St Louis times anyway. I get that it's very behind but it threw me when I found out that it wasn't there but at the NBC. I'm not worried, confused.

We are just hoping for no interview and hopefully before our medicals are expired in 2 months

It would be nice to have an interview waiver for sure. Funnily enough I was looking at my medical info that I sent with my application and the date on it is September 2017 but yet I had my medical done last April and as far as I'm aware it's only good for 12 months. Buuuuuut, isn't it as long as you file your petition within that 12 months? Surely if it expires before they've processed it then it shouldn't matter??

A...If you are a K-1, K-2, K-3 or K-4 visa holder the I-693 instructions state that you are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination. Regardless of if you are exempt from a medical exam, you are still required to complete certain portions of the I-693 and have a Civil Surgeon certify the form (and seal it in an evelope). Specifically, you will complete Part 1 (Information about you) of the I-693 and provide both the form and your DS-3025 (if you have it, proving your vaccination history) and any proof of required vaccinations that were completed prior to entering the US. If you do not have a copy of your DS-3025 you will need to provide sufficient evidence of your vaccination history to the Civil Surgeon (talk to the civil surgeon's office to discuss what vaccination records they accept as proof). If you do not have proof of your vaccination history the Civil Surgeon may insist on re-administering all the required vaccinations prior to completing the I-693. Once the Civil Surgeon has has verified that all required vaccinations have been performed, they will complete form I-693 Part 2 (the vaccination section) and Part 5 (the Civil Surgeon's Certification). They will then seal the form in an envelope and return it to you.

I can do that! No clue what a DS-3025 is yet though but I'll have a look, basically I think I'll just worry about it as and when I need to.

I just called the customer service number and the automated message told me where mine was at, as that's what I was calling about I didn't need to know anything else.

I was just wondering, ours has been in Missouri for a long while filed in September 2016 , I wonder if something was missing or not right with the paperwork , if we would of received a RFE by now.

 

Houston office is so backed up, a year or more for an interview.

I'm sure by  now you and I would have received an RFIE if they needed more evidence? I filed at the end of August and apparently mine has been to St Louis and now back again!! As long as it's not lost, that's the thing that worries everyone the most I think.

Sometimes I think new petitions get piled on the older ones, and make us lag behind at times.  Your interview notice or approval notice will come when that very moment your not thinking of it....
