I'm August filer and got my EAD in October.

My local office is ATL too and still waiting for interview.

 

 

My Timeline:

Receipt Dates: August 8th, 2016 for I-130, I-765

August 15th, 2016 for I-485

AOS/EAD Sent : August 3rd, 2016

AOS/EAD Delivered: August 8th, 2016 (Day 0)

1st NOA1 (e-notification): August 16th, 2016 (Text & e-mail) (Day 8)

Check Cashed & Website Updated : August 17th, 2016 (Day 9)

1st NOA1 (Hard Copy): August 20th, 2016 (Day 12)

EAD (I-765) Approved: October 14th, 2016 (Day 68)

Biometric Done: October 18th, 2016 (Day 72)

EAD Card is being Produced: October 18th, 2016 (DAY 72)

Biometric Scheduled: October 25th, 2016 (Day 79)

Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview: October 26th, 2016 (Day 80)

EAD Card was mailed to me: Nov. 1st, 2016 (Day 86)

EAD delivered: Nov. 3rd, 2016 (Day 88)

Just got notified that we will have our AOS interview on February 1st, in Detroit. Was hoping for no interview, but at least we'll have sooner rather than later.

You probably have about 3-4 months wait yet before an interview in ATL.

September filer, got EAD and AP mid November. I-485 has been in "ready to be scheduled for an interview" since October. Local field office is San Fernando Valley, which is processing May 2016.

what makes you think it's 3-4 months?

We had our interview in Albuquerque this morning. We had to wait over an hour so we went to ask what was going on. Our interviewer was still in with someone else and they were taking a long time. Finally they switched us to a new interviewer. We were blessed. She was a very nice older lady. It was straightforward, she asked about dating and engagement and wedding. We showed her all of our proofs and pictures and our ultrasound pictures (I recently found out I am pregnant!). She approved us on the spot!

09/27/16: BIO early walk-in (10/06/2016)

10/05/16: I-485 RFE email received

10/11/16: RFE yellow letter received/RFE package sent

10/13/16: RFE package delivered (USPS)

10/14/16: RFE package received by USCIS (Email received from USCIS)

11/23/16: I-765 was approved. Card ordered (Expedite processing/Job offer)

11/28/16: EAD Card was mailed

12/01/16: EAD Card was in the mail

05/15/16: Interview scheduled for 6/13/17

6/13/17: Interview. Not approved in the spot. IO wanted to check for gonorrhea test on I-693. She said maybe we could get RFE.

6/19/13: I-797C Letter on the mail. I-130 was approved. 

6/26/17: Email update: Green card production was ordered on 6/24/17

6/29/17: Email saying card was mailed on 6/28/17

6/30/17: We received the card. 

6/30/17: Waiting for ROC in 2 years (6/13/19)

Yeah you should have heard something before that time :) but we'll see it could be faster and it could be after it really depends on their workload down there and will say that ATL are very busy.

I saw that, too. But that is what they were processing back in Nov.30. 

 

Also, just found someone whose local office is ATL that just received an interview notice yesterday and he/she is early August filer.

 

So I'm guessing little earlier than 3-4 months.

Like I said in the post above it can be faster and it can be slower it really all depends on their workload but we all hope they are faster ;-)
