Well I have been researching the process as well I don't know why I had the idea that he wouldn't be called for bio.

It's easy to miss stuff! Also the bio fee is waived when the K2 files at the same time as K1 if you file separately the bio fee becomes payable! There's quite a few if's and but's with the process. That info is on the USCIS website I always check with the instructions as well as the guides on here! I found the K2 part confusing at times as it's not as well documented

I looked too can't see where it says they have to do bio though.

Fee is waived even if not filed with parents when under 14. Or not even waived there just isn't any bio fee for kids under 14.

Your husband is the main sponsor and your joint sponsor is yeah your joint sponsor so yes.

Hey guys! I just sent out my husband's AOS today. It was sooo hard to get all the documents together and to make sure we filled out all the paperwork correctly. Way harder than the K1 was in my opinion lol.

3-25-2016 Received NOA1
6-6-2016 Received NOA2 (73 days)
6-10-2016 Received NOA2 Hard Copy
6-27-2016 NVC received case (3 weeks)
6-29-2016 NVC Case Number.
6-30-2016 Case left NVC
7-25-2016 Medical Scheduled.
7-21-2016 Packet 3.
7-27-2016 Interview
8-8-2016 Visa Received.
8-28-2016 POE NYC.

AOS Process

9-15-2016 Sent out package.

9-17-2016 Package received at Chicago Lockbox!

9-24-2016 Received receipt texts for all three petitions. <3

Have been lurking these forums for a few months now, but this is my first post! Hoping I can contribute to the community now that I have submitted my AOS.

I was religiously following the August 2016 Filers thread as we originally submitted my AOS package on the 18th of August...however, we were rejected on account of a foolish mistake, so after re-submitting our NOA1 sits at September 8th, 2016.

Most disappointing event thus far was definitely receiving our package back in the mail, but I have to say, it felt really good getting the NOA1 Text and Email to confirm we are now on the right track.
