I doubt i will get card before Wednesday so won't be able to hand it over. If approved, i think i will get my green card in about a couple of weeks here. When i get my green card the EAD is no longer valid. Either way I am still eligible to work from the date on EAD. :-)

Just got notified that we will have our AOS interview on February 1st, in Detroit. Was hoping for no interview, but at least we'll have sooner rather than later.

Hey everyone. So it looks like health insurance problem is solved. Got my combo card in the mail yesterday. Yay.

One question. Next step is to go to the social security office. What do I need to bring? Just the combo card? Can I get my ID with the combo card too? I mean it has a pic my name and my birthdate on it...

Your EAD can be used as ID and otherwise your DL.

15 days since my card didn't get delivered to me because an USCIS mistake, still no update....How hard is it to re-send this stupid card to the correct address. Thank god the job I am starting is going to let me start working on the 2nd without the card!

USCIS told me if my employer is ok with it I am fine since I got approved!! All I need is the conformation number from my card!

hi guys, hope whoever is having the similar timeline to mine with RFE is getting approval soon because I got it now today!

After getting the RFE so late and sent the response back to them and they received it on 25th Nov, I didnt hear from them again about my EAD or AP update.

I couldnt wait any longer so last Tuesday i called and put it a service request with Tier1 and did some research after that that I should speak to Tier2 better.

So, I call again on Friday and requested to speak with Tier2 and she put me another service request.

On Monday 19 Dec, I checked my status online and the second service request was assigned to an officer to respond and they pulled my file out to look at it.

I didnt think it would be this fast because the last 2 times, my service requests were responded on the 30th date.

I was so glad and didnt think that the next day which is today Tuesday 20th Dec, I would get the updates both on EAD and AP at the same time.

My AP changed to 'case was approved'

My EAD changed to 'New Card is Being Produced' but no approval update tho.

Does this mean my EAD got approved? I know it is a stupid question but i just wanna make sure that this means i will get the card soon.

And normally, how long does it take you to get the card in mail?

Hope the best for all those who are waiting! may you all get the approval as a Christmas present!

Hey everyone

Today my wife and I had our AOS interview in Chicago at 10:15AM. It was very straight forward. Most questions were directed to my wife (names, birth dates, wedding date, etc). We gave the officer copies of our lease, bank statements, utility bills, pictures of trips together, etc.

The officer said everything looks good and we should hear back within 120 days. At 3PM today we got an email with approval :joy::joy::joy::joy:

Yes - your EAD has been approved. It should take about two weeks to get the card, but the holidays might slow it down somewhat.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.
