ceac website says returned to nvc. contacted nvc; case still shows at Dakar consulate since May 2016. Is this normal?

You should contact when 180 days finish but it's ok you can contact with obudsman now because it's been one year and 3 months now I don't know why it's take so long they said to us 180 days I don't know how long it will take for us to take decision from uscis best of luck

Thank you. Yes I plan to submit request to the ombudsman office.

Your welcome keep us in your prayers too we need ur prayers too we are the same boat it's so hard to be apart from loves one they dont know the pain coz they are not suffering like that but we have faith in God oneday this horrible process will go away and we will be together with our loves one
