White poverty exists, ignored

I used to work at a large Toyota dealership in Arizona which was owned by a black man.

See? That wasn't so hard. My point is, at large, we're hard workers, but we don't own things of great value. I would like to see players own teams, artists own stations, business men start they own and teach the youth to invest money and preach education.

Toyota has lots of black owned dealerships.

Look at this list of popular vehicles for blacks. I am shocked Chrysler is nowhere on the list. What is amazing is the list is right in line with brands I would buy by order. I sell lots of used cars. I see what holds up and what holds resale value.

I would have to say overall by brand I would rate Chrysler and doge the biggest pieces of pure junk on the market

Here's the brand percentage for the African-American market:

  • Toyota 15.0%
  • Ford 11.7%
  • Chevrolet 11.4%
  • Honda 11.3%
  • Nissan 10.2%
  • Hyundai 5.6%
  • Kia 4.2%
  • Dodge 4.0%
  • GMC 2.8%
  • Volkswagen 2.2%

Dude, you are SO 19 years behind the power curve. I would own a Dodge Ram over a Ford or Chevy or Toyota any day of the week. You are so Toyota-poisoned you almost have shanty eyes...

Why would you want to own an inferior product in a Dodge? Toyota and Ford blow Dodge away in quality and reliability, especially in pick ups. Chevy isn't as good as Ford or Toyota, but it's still better than Dodge/Chrsyler.

I know right . I see resale values everyday and what used stuff holds up.

Chrysler/Dodge products are the worst. Jeep Wrangler has a strong resale value but is still marginal quality.

The number one resale value holder in America is the Tacoma of any vehicle car or truck. Tundra is 3rd

There is a reason for that

I would imagine that Ford is in the middle at number 2 for pick ups? The F150 has been the best selling pick up truck in the US for over 30 years, and it's resale value is one of the highest among used trucks.

If you combine GMC and Chevorlet I don't think it is

You don't combine GMC and Chevy. Granted they are both GM products, but they are different brands. I wouldn't combine Ford and Mercury and put it up against Chevy either.

I know just saying . Ford F150 is a good truck. I looked and them in June when I bought my Tundra.. In the end they are a good bit more expensive than Tundra and Tundra has better resale. Not to mention I get employee flat cost pricing.

Now Mustangs I love. I have had 3 and plan on another one day in the next 2 years or so

I was looking at the Tundra as well a few years back, very nice truck. I'm very big on resale/trade-in value and always look for vehicles that will provide a good value when I'm ready to trade or sell.

Mustang is my favorite muscle car, particularly the 1960's Shelby's.

As we discussed Subaru is at the top in that category
