It's a good thing I don't judge all Brits in the US by the ones I know at work. I know three and they are all pompous prikcs.

The Australian comment in the article is about right. As "sexy" as I'm told the accent is, its a nightmare ordering food as no ####### seems to understand what I say. Which is strange because I don't have a particularly "strong" accent. I could understand it if I was from Liverpool or Birmingham.

Correction: The author is Scottish. Almost everything he describes sounds like its describing English people, albeit to a ridiculous stereotyped degree. Scottish people hate the English. Bear this in mind when reading this article.

Also - a Scottish person accusing English of being tight? Oh the hilarity!!
