So, are you admitting that WP is real? Or are you posting this because you can't stand Hillary?

Or we can do one of Trump and say.

Imagine a party so desperate, they've put up a person who's completely against all of their morals and principles, running for President. Not to mention unqualified, bigoted, misogynistic, xenophobic, tone deaf....

So you respect someone's decision to not stand or show common courtesy during the playing of the national anthem?

Last I checked, it's a free county. And he has a right to voice his reason for doing so. But let's be clear, it's not sitting down that's got people upset. It's the reason why he did it. But I know no one here will admit it out loud.

Oh, you are dead wrong. I have corrected people for wearing hats during the playing of the anthem, for not putting their hands over their hearts, etc. It's a matter of pride that was drilled into me that not everyone has.

He could voice his "reasons" just as well any other way, while at the same time showing respect and pride in his nation that allowed him to be who he has become today.

Actually the nation didn't allow him anything. He did that, with hard work. That thing people like you love to champion.

As for pride, as a black man in a country that has spoken loud and clear about how it feels about it's POC citizens(I'll never forget you actually advocated for me to be shot by the police) my pride as a human being takes precedent. That's why, even though I've served, I won't wear anything with an American flag on it.

When did I do that?

In the BLM thread(one of many) where you said we should used for target practice by the police.

That's NOT what I said, but nice try. And you were not the topic of that particular conversation, as much as you might like to pretend to have been, so it could not have been misconstrued as me saying you should be used as target practice.

What I said, in response to another talking about "better training for police", was:

If by "better training" you mean opportunities for target practice, yeah, I can see that...

And what I meant was that by refusing to cooperate with police, by not giving in to officers' demands to allow them to be subdued during a situation, and certainly by pulling a gun on police, perps (of all colors, so don't get your panties in a tizzy) will provide police with training all by themselves. Training on how to combat people who wish to disobey the law. Training on how to shoot moving targets when they are shooting at you. Etc. In no way did I say, nor condone, shooting innocent people (of any color) was "good training". But by breaking the law and not following orders, the people who do so will provide all kinds of training.

Sorry this struck a chord in you. I didn't realize it was so direct.

I'm a member of BLM, and I remember you being called out in this thread and not posting this response.

And let's point it out. Resisting arrest isn't a precursor for killing someone, because somehow, white men with guns that have killed people and police alike are arrested without incident. But they can't subdue black people WITHOUT guns?

Because Charles was laying in the street with his hands up, no weapon, and he wasn't resisting arrest. And they shot him. The reasoning behind this? They were trying to hit the mentally handicapped young man with the toy truck. Same thing with Philando Castle, unless you're telling me that laying down and trying to save a young's man life was resisting arrest?

What training needs to be conducted to combat that?

So you are not proud of the country that you served and have lived in all your life, the very one who provided you opportunities to excel. Now that you are getting a paycheck every month, you can bad mouth as much as you want, eh? Noted.

Might also shed some light on why it took you 20+ years to attain and retire at the grade that most achieve in 2 years or less.

That's why, even though I've served, I won't wear anything with an American flag on it.
