Trying to register for CFO

I finally convinced my fiancee to register for CFO. (She works on Filipino time.) But when we get to the email that CFO is supposed to send in order to continue the registration process, it doesn't arrive in our in-boxes. We have tried her email address and my email address, but it hasn't arrived in either one. Since this is Sunday evening, nobody is there to answer the phone. I don't know what the problem is.

So the email is not instantaneous. Only in the Philippines. Gotta love those who are learning about technology.

It's amazing that you design a web page that requires the individual to complete the registration from an email that you send 2 days later. What a waste. I hate incompetent software and or software process. My employer is the same. We have jobs that need to be completed and they will ask if I am in XXXX store or YYYY store (two stores owned and operated by the same company) and the radio buttons for the answer is either Yes or No. Go figure. The other one I like is I have to answer a question "which are missing" and they give me a serious of items to check. If it is missing then I highlight the radio button next to the item that is missing. The question is a "requirement" question so you can't close out the survey till all required questions are answered. Here is the kicker. If everything is there, there is no radio button answer for that choice, but to get beyond the requirement that an answer is required you just randomly choose any old answer which makes the survey not accurate. Smart :bonk:

SORRY I digress: @Pythos1.... guess you will need to wait a little longer for the email to arrive. Let us know what you did to finish booking your appointment. I am curious.

I did the "resend to your email" thing twice while I was in phils. Now that I'm back in the US, I still haven't gotten any email. And my fiancee's inbox doesn't have one, either. My fiancee's sister said Monday was a phils holiday but she didn't know which holiday it was, so that might have something to do with it. I don't know.

One big thing that concerns me (two, actually) is that my fiancee is very unsure of herself when filling out forms. And she's very unsure of herself with English, although that's the only language I know, and we communicate well enough. When she filled out her forms for SLEC and USEM, I was online with her the whole time, and she would give me each question so that I could give her an answer for her to put in the form. Very unsure of herself with the forms...

She can speak Filipino/Tagalog during CFO if she takes the CFO Manila and Bisaya if in CFO Cebu. She will need so much of your info while filling up the CFO form.

Confidence is one of the major cultural issue in the Philippines. As a child, we, filipinos are not taught to speak up for ourselves. We are taught not to respond to our parents even if we want to. It is considered disrespectful most of the time if we voice out our thoughts hence confidence is poorly developed. She would need your help on this one :)

If the form can be filled out by you I would suggest doing so and then email the completed form for her to print. If you email her a copy of the 129f, there is enough information for her to use to complete whatever form she is working with.

At the interview ask her to ask for an interpreter. They offer the service, free of charge, and it doesn't effect the interview.

I actually tried doing that with her USEM forms, but at a certain point, I got rejected from the site. I believe they tested for origination and found I was doing it from the US, so it obviously wasn't her, or something to that extent. And she has her copy of the entire case she and I put together. USEM has their copy, I have mine, and she has hers.

But if ever I get an email from CFO with the information to use to continue with the registration process, I'll probably try to fill it out for her. Don't know if she'll get dinged for that or not, since CFO is there to protect her from predators and filing it out for her might be red-flagged as a predatory act...

I'm filling out the CFO form for my stepdaughter and the only problem I'm having is they're asking for the visa number so I can't click onto the next page other than that it seems to be letting me do it

How's your CFO, phythos1?

The form that she needs to fill out is very basic,

first part is about herself while second part is more on fiance's info..

The seminar part is very informative while one on one interview with

the CFO officer, is all about your relationship.

Just be confident :-)

TIP: they will not ask questions if they don't smell something fishy.

They're using a system that is link to the bureau of immigration as per

the CFO officer.
