Yup KarenCee, I was taught the same thing. But the Baptists have it wrong, IMO. Maybe they should pay attention to the Scriptures instead of some ' CHURCH ' doctrine. Personally, I prayed on this matter for a long time. I typed basically what I received in the Spirit. This being some years ago.

Again, the concept here is Will the Judge of the whole earth not do right?

Abraham asked that question of God when the Lord said that He would destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham said would you destroy the righteous with the wicked, should not the judge of the whole earth do right? He asked that question because Abrahams nephew Lot lived there with his family. the angels came and removed Lot and his family before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.

The Lord will judge the mentally incapcitated fellon's heart and He knows whether or not he understood what he was doing or not. Unlike us who cannot really judge the condition of a person's heart. More important is that you know what is required of you now, so you are responsible for the decision you have made so far to reject Jesus offer of a full pardon for your sins. Why would you do that, He loves you so much?

From the Bible and from the words of Jesus, it is clear that the Lord will be much more fair than you or I would be.

I don't believe I said I didn't believe John 14:6 I just said that I was confused because there doesn't seem to be no conditional clause. it says "nobody will get to heaven but through me" there is no "unless you don't have the capacity to know Jesus"

I see, the point though is that these babies and others DO get to heaven through Jesus! Awesome news!

I understand that, they are not always that clear to me also. I only know what I learned from the Bible the last 32 years. Sorry if I am sounding like a know it all, because there is alot more that I dont know, than I do know.

Pets go to heaven. He created them. He spared them from the flood, did'nt HE, and He made a donkey speak to a man who was whipping him horribly. The Scripture says ' Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord ' .

He created animals before he created man.

That ain't what they teach in the Baptist churches. I've been taught that pets have no soul so they do not go to heaven. The way it was put to me...believe it or not, it doesn't matter...what we say is the truth. One of their favourite sayings is "God said it, that settles it, whether you believe it or not".

I think my dog has a soul.. i asked him he wagged his tail..
