Babies, Children, Mentally Incapacitated Get Into Heaven for Free

The question was posed to me last night that some persons on this forum do not believe that when Jesus said In John 14:6:

John 14:6 ¶ Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

That All babies, Children and Mentally incapacitated would be iallowed to enter heaven unless they accepted Jesus sacrifice for their sins.

I explained that When Jesus died, He died to pay for the sins of every person that has ever been born, so Babies, Children and mentally incapacitated persons have their sins covered by Jesus sacrifice alrready.

Because they do not have the capacity to understand what they must do to be saved, that God's Grace (unmerrited Favor) allows them entrance into heaven for free, covered by Jesus sacrifice.

These persons dissagreed with this idea, so I said "let's have a poll", so here it is, you decide

The question was "I don't believe in God, so the point is: (not something I want to comment on because I dont believe in God, so I will be quiet, unspeaking, voiceless)

You see if you don't really believe in God then there is no need to comment on God, because to you He doesn't exist, so why would I comment on something that doesn't exist...

Great question. We don't know because the Bible doesn't say except that there ARE animals in heaven. This is just MY personal opinion but I think that If you need your favorite pet there in heaven to be Blessed, then the Lord will give Him to you.

I heard a story of a cardiologist who died and found himself in heaven. The man was taken by the Lord to a large house on a hill surrounded by thousads of acres of daffodis. The man said to the Lord, wow Lord you know I just love daffodils! Jesus told him, "Yes I know, didn't I say that I went to prepare a plce for YOU! This house and those flowers arre all yours..."

At the very least they need to be locked up for a very, very long time or, better yet, forever. They certainly shouldn't be running loose on the streets...that much is obvious. There are no pills that can cure their ills.

What God does with them when they fall under his jurisdiction is of no concern of mine.

That ain't what they teach in the Baptist churches. I've been taught that pets have no soul so they do not go to heaven. The way it was put to me...believe it or not, it doesn't matter...what we say is the truth. One of their favourite sayings is "God said it, that settles it, whether you believe it or not".

I don't believe I said I didn't believe John 14:6 I just said that I was confused because there doesn't seem to be no conditional clause. it says "nobody will get to heaven but through me" there is no "unless you don't have the capacity to know Jesus"
