I'm right there with you guys, having got NOA1 from Nebraska on 8/24. I'm guessing NOA2 will be in January.

I imagine you guys are checking for updates daily on the USCIS website, just like we are, lol.

In the case of an RFE, I wonder if such notification comes by mail only or if you see it on the USCIS page too?

Hi, we got an RFE. I got notification at uscis online then after few days we received it in mail. They are just a bit slow updating the online status.

My husband is a US citizen and has applied for my CR1. I received my NOA1 in Aug 2016; so my i-130 is pending. My husband is planning to change his job. Will it have any impact on my pending i-130?

No your husband will be fine. Once noa2 approved. Nvc will ask for current income he can then provide his updated information.

Can I ask what is the RFE? My wife's doing all my stuff with a immigration consultant and just curious to know what your referring too.

Thanks

Keep on at the consultant .... forget to post or file is common and you are told one thing and then you later find out something else. It is one step away from being in control, hence the suggestion.

If it took 10 years to close this down http://www.latimes.com/travel/deals/la-tr-ghana-fake-embassy-20161205-story.html

Imagine what forgetting to complete a box in a form will do to us all!

No wonder it takes ages.

I am thinking of divorcing wife, then re-applying as K-1 as it will be faster ..... she may not re-marry me ..... in fact I cannot take the risk :reading::hehe:

So strange because on the USCIS website they have 5month's for processing time....would've thought that I'd be fairly accurate but have to say these waiting times are just ridiculous and stupid.

Xmas by myself isn't going to be very exciting - think I'll just go fishing to pass the day instead

Good luck everyone, hope we all get our noa2 asap.

As my wife says "stay positive" lol...

NOA1: I-797C Received

Priority Date: August 10, 2016 Nebraska Service Center

Hi Tayaj

Just figure out how to use this website , it seems like we are on the same page , and we both in NYC , My husband filed I-30 in august , the PD is August 4th, until now I didn't hear a thing but a receipt number. I pick some random receipt number , there are people who filed in April still same status like me , I don't know how long have to wait. do you have any updates?
