Case approved May 2nd PD date of August 30 2016. Good luck to everyone else waiting for approval.

Good luck, cannot believe the delay as you were 1 day behind me on the filing date.

Do not wait 30 days as per letter to get your case and receipt numbers, call after 14 days .... do not say you have not got the letter either and agree to them sending you a new one. The reason, you get online to pay your fee etc and find you are locked out until the new email or letter is generated ....7 days.  ...... They do not tell you they lock the account when they helpfully agree to send a new letter .... the warning signs which go up cause you to telephone them ...it is that crazy a online system.

Chamma is doing a good support job for NVC filers so any questions - ask and you will get a sensible response.

Hi there, what happened when you called? We are in the same situation. PD August 18. When I called they said the result of the inquiry is that application is in background check/further processing. Thanks

Hoping you have got clearance as I write, if not, ask them to dig around as beyond the time limit as quoted on their website. You have every right to ask for a review and to chase down a Supervisor if website processing date at USCIS is later than your submission date.

I wasn't given any information and was told not to call back for 30 days. Did a tier 2 give you that information? If anyone else has had success with a  service request please let me know! Thank you

You got the standard kick-back and did you speak to a level 2 or Supervisor? Did you ask for a call-back? The problem there is I had to use  a US Skype number and stressed I was in Europe, got the call back but the ******* cut off the call and then wrote "tried call back" when in reality we never got the call.

Trust level at Nebraska for me is 0 but there are competent people there, I just had the one on a bad day :-) Who reviews their performance we as the fee payer .... never ,,,,

Case approved May 23rd!!! Thank you everyone for your support. We can finally join the NVC forum. Any advice for prepping the next phase to go as quickly as possible is greatly appreciated. From this long experience (9months exactly) I learned that calling USCIS is pointless (tier 1 or tier 2) because they aren't directly connected with USCIS. Contact your local representative is easier way to obtain the same information you can get from tier 2 (and it's a part of their job). Scheduling an infopass appointment gets you the actual info you want regarding your case status as they have a direct connection and live updates for your case. Thank you everyone!

Hello!!

Most of April scan dates have received a Case Complete (CC) from the NVC.. Even a few May scan dates have CC's!!

Have you had a chance to look at our spreadsheet? Open to all NVC scan dates in 2017 (mail, email, CEAC upload)

NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017 (save this link in your browser)

Please visit the following, this will update the spreadsheet with your info.

NVC Case Status Questionnaire -  2017

VERY IMPORTANT: please keep your confirmation email from "google forms" to edit your status as your case moves along.. Yes, You CAN bookmark the questionnaire link but only after opening it up via email. I have no access to resend your original questionnaire to you. Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire

Thank you, JBMG

VERY Important!! Please read this post. Could save you 11 weeks!!

Hello, for those of you who are about to start the NVC process or already have.. Please make sure you bookmark the following. I've created this because 1/3rd of our cases that are represented on our spreadsheet have received a checklist (like a RFE but for the NVC). Hopefully if you read this, it will reduce the chances of any of you from receiving one. Receiving a checklist can delay your case for 11 weeks (current processing time quoted by the NVC)..  Good luck!! :)

Hey all. Just a quick question. I am applying a  i-130 for my spouse who is currently residing in Pakistan. I am a US citizen. Our noa1 is August 23rd 2016. Our case is in the Nebraska Center. I just wanted a little bit of Hope and understanding. Is there anyone still that hasn't gotten approved from August 2016? We still have not receive our and noa2! I have made service inquiries and two trips down for uscis info pass appointments. All of the responses from all the methods of communication have basically been to continue to wait. It's been over a year since I apply now. I have kids with my spouse. Someone a Visa Journey suggested they contacted a ombusman. I did that about 3 weeks ago still no response. :( 😣😢😭 lastly I also contacted the senator in my state; that wasn't much help either. Thanks
