Hey @CDJames, just out of curiosity, what was you RFE for? If you don't mind, consider adding it to the stickied RFE thread, it'll help any newcomers possibly avoid any mistakes. Best of luck on your response and wishing for a speedy approval.

Hey @agripa they're requesting 3 things...1: at first they got my husband name messed up they put his middle name for his first name so they want proof of his right name... 2: passport size picture of hubby...3:biological form for both of us...that about it

really don't understand how could they put his middle name first thou ??

I feel really bad for those people.

Would hate to be in there shoes

As someone in the process myself as of Dec I do not feel sorry. I want a nation that is secure for those coming here legally. I wish there was also a way to insure these people coming from the Muslim world will ASSIMILATE and NOT make ANY attempt to inflict Sharia law on this nation as they are in OTHER western nations. Screwwww that #######.

6.6 months???  That is nuts. This is so wrong to put people who are married through this lengthy process.

I believe it is way to hide the true status and work of USCIS from everyone, immigration is such a hot topic now in the USA. Family members think the visa delay is our problem, we have something they do not know about in the family. One thinks we do not go to church and pray enough!

A taste of things awaiting me, thanks that most are normal, many like beer and laugh at my accent and German swearing!

What does this mean? you spend money, get approved but are not approved? Then you wait for over a year until your number arrives, but if the limit or rules change you are stuck?

Reads very hard. Not fair.

The statement is interesting, I have no problem. I see the USA as mixed up as Europe, so many people from different States( swap countries) with their own values, language and (in)tolerances.

It all depends on what you read:

It has taken 6 months for a family member to get in, so a refugee?

I was more horrified about the drug problem, painkiller-heroin overdose rates - no-one is putting their effort into cleaning up the streets of the pushers, dealers, importers, money fixers and launderers.

There has been no news on this at all in the first 30 days, we all wait and see.

Yep, I honestly thought we were going to hit 7 months and maybe wait longer, as has been the case with many others waiting at Nebraska. We were one of the lucky ones, if you can call "only" 6.6 months lucky. it was painful waiting and seeing the average processing time slowly increase over the months, but once it's over, it's over. You only have to go through the process once, fortunately.

This is a special process we are all in, I cannot think what your waiting game must be like. Gives me a "lucky" feeling to not be in same waiting process.

I respect your patience.
