You can call and have ask to speak with a tier 2 officer they can place the inquiry.  I called a few days ago and wad told that inquiries sometime delay your case a notch.  The agent that I spoke with was able to tell me that someone touched my case and to call or check back within a few days.  My PD 8/15

USCIS does not call people who are not living in America - you are not guaranteed a transfer to someone - partner (petitioner) does not live in the USA and is mad ...... more stress and she paid the I-130 filing fee.

we decide to buy a US VoIP number if we talk to USCIS again. How else can you do it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I noticed as well other cases after mine had been approved, while mine was still as is. If you use the USCISAPP, you can search case numbers and it gives you what type of form that case number is associated with. So the case numbers after mine that have been approved or have a different status are forms other that the I-130. So maybe they separate the applications by type of form, and then work on them?

I am sure their case are I-30 , I noticed there are many cases

I am beginning to notice a pattern with Nebraska service center. They seem to approve a couple of petitions from one PD at a time, then move ahead to a different PD, approving a few from there, then back to an earlier PD, and so on, jumping around. A week ago they had approved one or two petitions from August 2, then they jumped back to end of July, then to August 5, August 10, then to August 1, then yesterday they approved a couple more form August 2. Back and forth, each day leaving less petitions from each PD, but still leaving a handful pending. They are not staying constant on one day. They should just go in order, focusing on one PD and not jumping around, that way there is consistency and it is more predictable when petitions will be approved. The cluster on August 2 has been receiving attention, with multiple approvals just yesterday, but mine is one of a handful still left. Not to mention those left behind from July still.

Yeah, I totally feel the same way with them building up hope by processing the same PD, but then having that hope destroyed when my case remains "Received". There are tons of petitions on any given PD, far more than I had ever imagined. There are great distances between case numbers, because of all of the different types of petitions going through. There could be a difference of several hundred numbers between two case numbers from the same priority date.

I have a spreadsheet where I have all the I-130s from around my priority date and each day I run them through the USCIS case status page. Since there are massive gaps between cases of the same priority date, I just remove any from the list that are not I-130. The app I used to use will only run cases within 100 numbers of each other. It hurts to see the 3 cases right before mine approved, like why did they have to stop just at my case? Could they not have just finished mine off too with the other couple of cases they just approved yesterday?

i have no ideas, maybe we can fill inqury . by the way what app do you use?

I don't like the inquiry idea, just because their are plenty of cases around ours that still have to be approved. If every single case from August 2 had been approved other than mine, I would definitely file one. But we just have to be patient and accept that USCIS skips around.

I was using an app called "USCIS Case" and another one before that called "USCIS Case Status", but I hate the apps now. I would get notifications that were out of date, repeated, or just not relevant. So much easier to just run case numbers each day, mark off date approved and see how many cases remain each day. It is the most practical and accurate way for me to see Nebraska's daily progress.

I think if you have applied in IR1 category, it is approved faster. I have applied in F2A category.

My husband said he was able to schedule the interview online right after submitting the application and fee. He's sleeping right now of course but when he gets up I'll ask him how he did that.

USCIS not updating their field office processing times (still showing last updated November 30, 2016) is getting on my nerves!!!

?????????

PD August 9.

Still stuck at "case was received."

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day.

I miss my husband sooo much... ?

Getting an approval today or tomorrow would be a great gift, a blessing, for Valentine's Day.
