I have been analyzing a lot of cases just randomly inputting case numbers. On Monday there were a ton of cases that were received on August 1 that just yesterday were approved. It would only follow that within the next couple days they start on August 2, but there is no real way for me to track their progress since they jump around. A case 5 case numbers before mine was approved as well, but I dont know if they just somehow randomly jumped to that one or are going to follow suite and proceed with my case very soon.

Thanks for keeping us updated, this helps those who read  and never comment

Congrats to you!

Someone is reaching for my file right now, I can feel it. Sure hope they don't spill any coffee on it.

Or left their birthday box of DunkinDonuts on it so it does not get a look at until tomorrow because the office have got to eat and pick had theirs ..... :jest:

Well on the bright side my wife has some app in the USA that says now the priority is i130 petitions.

I'm optimistic have to be I have 2 children and my wife in the states already.

Can only ever go off what information is supplied for us tho.

Still have my fingers and toes crossed its coming soon

Rugby 6 Nations starts, totally forgetting about i-130. Realised in the USA it will be difficult to have a rugbyfest weekend with all nationalities in the room. Just found something which I will miss! US wife "got involved" after seeing nice hunky men in tight shorts ...... rules came later !

Have little interest in the other hat and pads game where they run and hug each other every 10 yards ..........

Your timeline suggests  Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between February 9, 2017 and February 19, 2017*.

Mine is March ..... as end of Aug .... all I can say is hang in there.

A reason why we have now a US Skype number for USCIS and others to use to call back.

Would be interested to know if they use points scores aka loan credit scores to sort out applications, would make sense:

  • Married No of yrs ---- 3 1 point    5  2 points    10  3 points
  • Children USC       ---- Yes 5 points     No 0 points
  • Visited relatives    ---- 1 time  1 point    3 times 2 points   more than 3 times 5 points
  • Police record (submit at time of I-130) ----   None 5 points    Yes Minor   2 points    Yes Major 0 point

We know it will end up like this BUT know as well it is not happening ....now I am away for the weekend, off VJ and enjoying the rugby..... victories for England, Ireland should beat Scotland and I always support Italy at home because one day ........

An example for scoring, stability in relationship, or if your spouse and children move ahead of you, the person waiting should not have to wait nearly a year if the spouse and children are US citizens.

Here in Switzerland it is a multi-layer permit system:

  • A - Asylum seeker / refugee
  • L - Temp usually 3, 6 or 12 months reviewable
  • B - Work or Resident - contract, house rental lease or sponsored ( education, employment, family etc.).
  • C - Of good character, no work location or living location restriction and only after 5 years as a B permit holder.

  • A - very restricted
  • L and B can be restricted to the Kanton ,,,, so you re-apply if you move (change States in the USA for example).
  • Citizenship comes after approximately 10 years ...you can apply and it takes 3 years.

No-one knows what the DHS, State Department, FBI or USCIS do and what checks are really made for our applications. Not even if they are audited for quality or performance KPI`s like a business.

Which is why if a parent, with USC wife in USA and young USC children over there as well, you really have to feel for these people.  Skype can do so much then you have to hope you get cheap flights to/from the USA.

If expedited applications can happen for those from the Philippines, they can do it for other classes of applicants.
