They wanted to hire more people but they can't now.

The problem could be the contracting company  "Negotiations in Nebraska were delayed until a new federal contractor, FCI Federal, who also operates the center in Laguna Niguel, California, took over operations at the Nebraska Service Center on October 13 2015." http://www.ueunion.org/ue-news/2015/ue-local-808-wins-first-contract-at-nebraska-uscis-service-center

We were assigned to the contractor run centres ..... it just makes me think they took too much fat from the contract and not enough investment in staffing the workloads. If you contract and suddenly find 3 heads and not put the bill up, the assumption will be you were over-charging in the start anyway!

Do they have interest in balancing workloads with Federal, I doubt they can do anything as contractors are the lemons who get the biggest pressure squeeze..

  1. California - August 16th
  2. Potomac - August 1st
  3. Vermont - July 4th
  4. Texas - July 4th
  5. Nebraska - July 2nd

Today marks 6 months since my PD, 3 days less than what the historical processing times are currently showing on VJ. My timeline has now adjusted to next week for approval. Worried my timeline might adjust back to a later time in this month, after seeing people from mid-July who still have not been approved.

I have been analyzing a lot of cases just randomly inputting case numbers. On Monday there were a ton of cases that were received on August 1 that just yesterday were approved. It would only follow that within the next couple days they start on August 2, but there is no real way for me to track their progress since they jump around. A case 5 case numbers before mine was approved as well, but I dont know if they just somehow randomly jumped to that one or are going to follow suite and proceed with my case very soon.
