I am not saying you should do this but, if you have a dog or cat, you will need to go to the vet.

Why?

Cut their tail off, even if the Vet says no you cannot as there is nothing wrong because.

If your mother-in-law is coming to visit, you do not want the animals to give her hope she is welcome! :-)

To get away from your Mother-In-Law .... you really think you can ,,,,,

On the bright side not that its the perfect senerio atleast your not completely by yourself, but USA need to consider the true reality of an actual family and what this process does, its cruel.

I totally agree, families should get some form of expedited channel.

The delay has created some real issues for me. I was hoping to go with my mother-in-law ice fishing before the ice gets too thick, now I am going to have to wait another year!

Good luck everyone I hope we start seeing some more approvals

I just wish I was from the Philippines - each one gets through in 6-7 weeks so those filing in Dec are processed before us, it does not work as first in first out as a process as advertised.

This is a major cause of personal frustration, a niggle which does not go away when you look at immigration timelines.

21 listed for Nebraska Sept-Dec .....add those who do not subscribe to VisaJourney, we move forward and backwards according to how many from the Philippines decide to apply. A strange sausage machine experience where some get Penthouse suites with sea view and others get a room overlooking the highway :unsure:.

So not to despair, time to provide a Switzerland Useless Fact:

Mozzarella is Switzerland's second most produced cheese, after Le Gruyère .....

I'm honestly so disappointed with this process, looking at the USCIS processing times Nebraska said on November 28th they are processing dates of I130 petitions of 2 July but looking again today it is exactly the same updated on the January 25th so basically in 2 months its not moved at all.

Do they realise that each case is an actual person and I agree with patience the PD is clearly not working, dispite where people are from this process needs to be fair for all.

First in first served.

Wow, now Nebraska is at an all-time high (low?) for the past year, clocking in at just over 190 days average time for petition approval. Way to slack, guys! It was my great pleasure this morning to discover that my estimated approval time on my VJ profile has now been moved from this week to the last week of February, and the new month has not even begun yet!

I am picturing Nebraska service center as a basement office full of overweight gamers playing Call of Duty together and processing a case per hour, using my long-forgotten petition to prop up one of their gaming chairs that broke after that last Dominos pizza.

Well technically, it says that the processed dates are as of November 30, 2016. So the optimistic interpretation is that they simply haven't updated their processing date. The pessimistic interpretation is that it hasn't really moved at all.

First time I've noticed that. I'm not sure which date to believe.

I am in a parallel universe, from my channel there is no date, simply a Visajourney excel spreadsheet which is never populated with CR1 or IR1 fields so you never know if a date really applies to you or I. It does seem to have halted.

At USCIS Tier 2 Supervisors now offer a call back to a US number ( not calling international) in 3-5 days. to get a call transferred you have to call at the right moment! I have purchased a Skype number now and have to call back....... it is a game.

Are you optimist or pessimist?

Correct but never changed, no-one questions it so it stayed. An ally to the USA yet their President was not pleased with Obama. Not all citizens are Catholics or nurses either so wait to see if any change happens. Many marry a Filipino to have a housemaid and carer, not judging, it is a way out of poverty but does not always end up as a happy marriage 5 years later judging by the posts on Visajourney..
