Forgot to send passport sized photos

Just sent in our package, got accepted and Biometrics scheduled already (don't know the date yet), but forgot to send in the 2 passport photos with the package. I don't want to wait for an RFE. Should we send them to the same address we sent the package to, or wait till we get our first acceptance notice in the mail?

I would wait, and bring them with you to biometrics. We have had people on here who did that and were fine.

TBH, not sure why they still ask for them- they will take your digital photo at biometrics, and that is what appeared on my official naturalisation docs, not the (much nicer...) paper photos I submitted.

They sometimes use the photos you submitted with the application on your naturalization certificate. This is usually the case if you request a name change, but may also happen if the biometrics photo is unacceptable for some reason.

In most cases like yours, they would have returned the application; I don't know why they didn't. Take the photos with you to the interview; you may be asked for them then.

Yup I read it and had everything put together, then realized they were still on the desk when I got home from the post office. That's why I was asking if I should just send them in separately with an explanation and a reference to the case number and alien registration number.

btw, thanks for your incredible input.

I'll probably just send them in now as I just mentioned rather than wait for biometrics.

Your application went to an acceptance facility.

It was then processed and sent to a central facility.

It will then be sent to your local field office.

That's where your interview will be scheduled and that's when they'll need your photographs.

Sending them now or taking them with you to biometrics won't be of any use in my opinion, because it is unlikely that they will end up with your application. In most, but not all cases, biometrics appointments are at a third party Application Support Center, and not a USCIS office; they have no way of getting your photos to USCIS.

If you do send them now or take them to your biometrics appointment, make sure you take a second set to the interview.

Thanks. I already mailed them in with reference to the case # and alien registration #. We have plenty of extras so, will bring them on the biometrics + interview. Thanks again ~
