Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

After my dad receive his visa, do he have to undergo a seminar at the CFO? if so, do he need to call for an appointment or he just have to walk in.

If your father is 60 years-old or older he no longer has to attend the CFO seminar. But he still needs to go there to register and get the stamp placed in his passport. http://www.cfo.gov.ph/rnr-pdos.html#exempted

Thank you! My dad will turn 60 years old in december of this year. Do he still have to undergo a seminar?

To be honest, I'm not completely sure. I would guess "Yes" just because technically he's not 60 yet, but that could just be me being picky... it is the Philippines, so perhaps he can still try to go and just get the stamp once he has his visa.

He is not 60 so he will need to attend. Register him and let them determine what they will accept.
