Him being in California and me being in central Europe, we have 9 hours in between us.

Apart from the obvious down side of not being together :crying: , this time difference works good for me as we can communicate in the morning and in the evening my time. I'm not distracted too much from work and studies during the day. On the other hand, I always bug him at work  , but he doesn't mind at all (of course).

I was so confused during the past two weeks when the USA changed to Daylight Savings Time while Europe kept the winter time until last night. We had an 8-hour difference and I didn't like it at all, I never caught him up in the evening (his) when I woke up in the morning (mine)...

Anyway, I was just curious about how other people cope with the time differences. So?

I was so confused during these past two weeks too - I hated it. You'd think that one hour wouldn't make that much of a difference, but it completely screwed up our schedule. Now he's back on track and I'm happy again!

I'm in Boston, he's in Paris - we're back to 6 hours difference.

My fiancee is 10 hours ahead of me. I'm in California, she's in Ukraine. I'm lucky being self-employed and working out of my home. I spend about 4 hours a day with her. But sometimes, she gets to sit and just watch me through the webcam and actually do some work ^_^

He's 7 hours ahead of me :(

But I can't complaint though............few months ago he resigned from his job and took a little break before starting his new job so for about that month that he was off, he was on computer with me the whole night. I would come home around 7pm and he would wait for me and stay with me on computer through web camera all night and not going to sleep at all, and then few times he went straight to school after our conversations, so he was beat up but he would never miss school ( talking about great student  ) So few times he did that and then he had a lot of catching up to do with his naps  Unfortunately now with his school and work he can't spend that much time on computer due to his different schedule but we manage . I wish I could bring that time back, but hey i know it's impossible  But we speak everyday and I am more than happy at least for that :P

I'll trade you time differences! Whenever I fly to Ukraine from California, I have to go through 2 other airports and with the wait time at airports, my trip to her is about 20 hours. I forgot to add in the time to go back and forth from the airport also...add 2 more hours. :o

I live in Denver, CO and my husband lives in Colombia. Right now there is only an hour difference since we changed the clock a couple of weeks ago. But in the winter time we have a 2 hour gap. :clock:

And yes, because I live almost in the middle of the country my flight to Colombia takes me an average of 12-13 hrs because of all the stupid lay overs.
