The same way they would have paid if she were here legally. Adjustment of status, or even naturalizing to become a US citizen, doesn't come with any medical benefits.

For a valid J1 visa, yes. But from my understanding she has no visa and no such privilege is extended to her. She is here illegally and I can only advise that she leave and do things the legal way.

If she leaves now, she'll get the 10 year ban since she had overstayed her visa.

They'll just have to risk waiting for lpr guy to naturalize and hope that "j1 overstay" would not be an issue when he applies for naturalization. Since they'll do AoS when he becomes usc.

Lpr guy told me that she had ssn from when she was here on j1. So,he was able to put her in his insurance plan. She won't be a public charge.

I know I know, broken record over here (I'm done this time), but we cannot give you advice for her to get a GC by skirting the law. Legal means, sure. A combo of illegal and legal means (illegal for a year then followed legal), no.
