You will be fine just have everything organized . The day my husband had his interview there were 12 k1 interviews all 12 were approved . I wouldn't listen to people except your self . I also was more nervous than my husband .

Yes, I'm trying to get everything I need and hopefully I don't miss anything! I think it's a female thing, I freaked out when we got the no2, then the nvc then the consulate lol and my fiance is chill and confident, I know I'll be the one interviewed and put through the real stress and I'm already always anxious when it comes to important stuff, it's terrible for me and you're right, I shouldn't listen to the negative views, somehow my brain focuses on the bad and runs with it and completely overlooks the positive comments! I truly hope this goes well. I went through hell to get time off work for this now, so all I can do is pray it all works out for the best.

So from your experience, do they schedule all k1's for one day? so it's like just k1's that day?

Hi

I have a question about the US consulate in Casablanca. Our case said Ready to be scheduled on July 12th, we emailed the consulate a week after that and we got a reply from them the next day saying that they're busy and have a lot of cases, I'm sure you're all familiar with the response,

So, It's been over 50 days now, and we still haven't heard anything from them, I seen a lot of people get scheduled last week and I was happy and expected to hear something today but no, still nothing, I'm not sure what do to now, is this normal? Because what they said they do is schedule cases in the order they recieve them...But I have no clue now, and also does everyone get the packet through email, or is there a possibility it could come through mail?

One last question about the original birth certificate my fiancee got translated already, and the translator is sworn and everything, but one thing is he didn't translate certain words on the paper that he couldn't understand, like street names and some dates, instead he put illegibale in place of those words....did anyone have this problem before? Will it be a problem at the interview??

Thank you!!!

My fiance is also from Morocco. I received an email about his interview. I'm confused why you would call and make an appointment. We didn't get a choice. With the birth certified copy from the location where is it held. Make sure you are going to one of the consulate authorized translators. They know what is exceptable and what isn't.

I wish you the best.

You have to keep emailing them they won't get back to you you have to keep following up I did this every 2 weeks and finally got a email about interview . Also for birth certificate when we went to get new ones we were there when the man was writing it out so made sure every word you could see but there are some on mine you can't see either I think most important is the mother and father names and birthday and city

Hello, We had the black CO and she was friendly but straight to the point. She asked my fiancé about my previous marriages, names and dates and about my daughter and what she likes to do. We gathered a lot of extra evidence for the interview, wedding plans (venues contracts, vendors, etc) She told him with a smile not to give anything else that she had enough- and only took a picture of me with his family. I sent a huge file with the petition ( chat history, photos, etc. )

We had the interview on September 2 and w were told 10 days to get passport, visa, and envelope for POE. The 10 days are business, so with the holidays we are on day 4.

The one downside with Morocco is the lack of information available- even how they update the site, and you check for status.

We are almost there.

We emailed every other day- and we got the interview email only with 9 days before the interview notice
