For all of you, Casa use to deny almost all K 1 applicaitions with no explanation

If you go in AP. be prepared to make a month long trip and marry

packets sent back to the US and put in AP are forgotten and allowed to die

if your packet is in embassy and you wait for interview, your application doesn't expire

email email on a regular basis saying you wait for interview

Nag them and don't give up until they interview

First of all email them write your full name and state whether u r the beneficiary or the petitioner and lastly your case number. DON'T be too lengthy in when sending your email. Example

the people are correct they can and do ask anything like "what color is the carpet in her bedroom?" like i showed him that or we talked about it?????

Photos with family for casa embassy are important

religion is important

most of all they actually have conseidered your case and decision is made before interview

just go in with confidence

answer directly and quickly and honestly

To the point you know the person / they have

As for questions they tried to convince my husband i went to school in Tennessee as i lived there and he said "look at her birth certificate, she grew up in NY and schooled there" they don't know the answers to the questions they asked / not even sure why they aske them

on the emails you need like she says

case number and names and also both DOB's

this emial has to come from the USC not the Moroccan

About the birth certificat , has it to be the full one (which is biggest) , translators have problems with it, like names translating to english, or the green one which is small ??

confused too

The extrait de naissance (green small one) is all they need.

Yes, I'm sure. My husband just got approved two days ago with only the abstract of birth certificate. They never asked for a complete birth certificate.

You have to keep emailing them every 2 weeks or so worked for me . And you will definitely want another birth certificate that's readable because when you get to USA you will have to send for adjustment of status and they will not accept the birth certificate unless they can read it . Happened to us .

And for the interview you just need to be confident know the exact dates be able to give a detailed story as they already read your file even before you entered the embassy . Know everything you normally would know just be yourself and everything will be fine

Thank you so much for your response, I needed some reassurance because this has been hell! I rarely hear positive stories and views on the entire process, also we just got an interview date yesterday now the real stress begins!! I have a question about the medical, I booked an appointement with the Dr El fihri nezha and they secretary asked me to bring a copy of my id and passport and the letter, six pictures and old vaccinations card, and one thing I'm very confused about is she said bring the address where you'll be travelling.....I don't know whether to write down my fiance's home address on a piece of paper or what?

Ya you will just write down the address on the form there filling out . For the doctors be prepared for the whole day cause you will have to go to different office for medical like shots blood ect . There all around the same area .

You will be fine just have everything organized . The day my husband had his interview there were 12 k1 interviews all 12 were approved . I wouldn't listen to people except your self . I also was more nervous than my husband .

Thank you for your quick response, I appreciate it!

Oh so she meant to know which address to put on a form I'll be given there? And yes, I did read a lot about the medical and everyone says it'll take the whole day, it sucks because I'm not familiar with the city at all and I haven't decided yet whether to go a day ahead kind of see where to go or just get there the same day and start running. I noticed they open at 9am, I guess there will be a lot of people out there way before that time, I hope it all goes well, because god knows this hasn't been easy for us.
