Combined savings on I-134 form

Does anyone know, if we're combining my savings (K-1 applicant) and my fiancee's savings (USC) how this should be entered on the I-134 form?

I'm thinking of converting any sterling holdings to a dollar figure and combining those with my USC fiancee's for one number against the 'I have on deposit in savings banks in the United States' line. Then have a supporting document to explain how this is split out, and obv with bank statements etc as supporting evidence

i.e. if I have $40k here and she has $40k in the US, we'll just put one number of $80k

Has anyone done this and how did you do it? Btw we're using savings as the USC is a student and so zero income

Many thanks

The I-134 is for the US fiancé only. It contains her savings dollar amounts only.

If you want to sweeten the deal with your savings, then take your bank statements. London will consider all of that in determining if you are likely to become a public charge. If you want to make a spreadsheet to show a total, it might be a useful tool to show the money at a glance.

Bank ABC (Mary) $5,000

Bank JJ (Mary) $15,000

Bank XYZ (Joe) $2,500 (£1900)
