hey.. i dunno if this is the right forum.. but here is my problem..

i (german citizen) am married to an US citizen since august 2004 and lived in USA since feb. 2004..

i am 38 weeks preggers and currently in germany by my parents on a vacay.. our son will be born here in germany.. what can i do so i and our son can go back asap to hubby..

i found this link where i can report his birth but i have some question about it..

does anyone know how long it will take till everything goes through..? until we have our sons US passport..etc..

I don't have any experience with this myself, but I can bump it so you get some attention!

I'm pretty sure you can do the report without your USC being there.

And no, your Green Card is not the same as a Naturalization Certificate.

Check the Europe Forum for other Ffurt users who may be able to give you some timeline info. Also you can check for similar questions in the Citizenship forum here at VJ.
