NVC received and case # assigned now what?

Call again and get the Invoice Number as well. After like 3-4 days, you will log into your case using this link https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx (you will need the case number and the Invoice ID Number to log in and fill out choice of agent form) Than call in like 3-5 days, call again and confirm the agent with the representative and once that's done, continue to make payments on your case and it's going to be much quicker now. That's good to know right?

I am waiting for my NOA2 and I'm very confused with NVC step.... :blush:

NOA2 is only an approve notification and don't need any action?

NVC...

1- I read about two payments, $325 for the interview and $120 for what? It is possible to make this payments online with credit card?

2- What documents do I need for NVC process?

I'm stressed! :cry:

Update: I just called the NVC and got invoice number. When I log on it tells me that I must complete for DS- 160. Is this correct? I read somewhere that it was supposed to be form DS -260. But I'm just way to excited right now. Also nothing there tells me to choose an agent or pay any fees. Is this right? Thanks

Contact NVC and find out if they have received your case. If so ask for case and invoice number and ask them what's next. That's exactly where I am now. I checked my status and it says to fill out form DS -160

DS260 is for Spousal visa. You are K1 so you fill out the DS-160.

Cateogory: CR1

  • NOA1/Notice of receipt: Sept. 15, 2015
  • NOA2/I130 Approved: February 8, 2016 (NO RFE) :)
  • Process slowed down by us
  • Sent documents to NVC: April 11, 2016
  • Scan date: April 14/ May 7th (NVC said both I dont know why)
  • Case Complete: May 31, 2016 (No checklist) :dancing:

August 17, 2016: Visa Approved!!!! :dancing:

This info is for spousal visa not K1 visa
