Hi, There was a question asked in an interview at one of the consulates to provide the petitioners Ex wifes SSN#. Has anyone heard of this before? LOL!! I sure don't know my ex's and dont want to have to ask for it.

Never heard of that before. I'm sure anything is possible, but I don't know how or why they would expect you to keep up with that kind of information. Only perhaps if you two shared child custody or something.

I remember my ex's SSN very well. It's always good to keep information like that around to use for whatever purpose it can be used ;)

That was my thoughs as well that it may be concerning kids. I for sure dont have that to worry with. And i do my best to forget the nightmare haha!!!

Weird that the interviewer would ask a question like that. At least it seems weird to me. The ex-wife's SSAN is not even asked for on the I-129. Oh well, that is why we are here on VJ; we find out something new everyday.

Yea, seemed wierd to me to. With all the privacy acts concerning SSN# of an indvidual not conerned with the case. Proof has already been met for divorce from the start
