HELP! Proving Domicile when USC is in Canada?!

Hey guys

So I'm only a few weeks away from my interview and I'm reading horror stores of people being denied due to a lack of proof of domicile! So I thought I'd write a little bit out my case so you can understand the circumstances.

My husband (USC) came to Canada on August 2nd 2015, with the intent of immigrating to Canada. So he quit his job and was here on a visitor visa until our marriage (on October 2nd 2015).

We got married, and days later my mother fell ill and passed away weeks later (November 2015). So during her illness, we asked Immigration Canada to provide him another visitor visa while he helped me with her accounts, funeral arrangements, etc.

After she passed away, our plans changed. I no longer wanted to remain in Canada - as my main reason was to be close to my mum. We started getting all the paperwork together and reading up on the process, my husband (USC) stayed with me the whole time on a visitor visa, we did NOT submit an application for Permanent Residency. His conditions to stay in Canada remain temporary, and I outlined that in the applications of his visa extensions - how I intent to immigrate to the US and he is here only to help me emotionally with my loss.

Skip ahead a few months, and everything got approved super smoothly! No RFEs! and my interview is just a few weeks away.

In my CC approval, just says to bring the financial documents to the interview, the W2s, etc and then there's a section in my Packet 4 where it says I need to bring the originals of applicant's current legal residence, Passport, Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Financial Evidence and my Police Certificate.

I don't see any mention for proof of domicile in my list of 'REQUIRED VISA INTERVIEW DOCUMENTS' but I see it mentioned in the e-mail I received with the generic Montreal Packet 4 information that's not specific to my case.

So my question is, what kind of proof is solid to show my husband's intent to go back?

We have the following:

Letters from past employers saying they would gladly re-hire him

His bank accounts/credit cards are still open

Kept his car (can show car payments)

Student Loans (US based)

Car insurance and registration is still being paid and up to date

Cell Phone (we can show the bill, he still kept his US phone number)

I've opened a US bank account

I have applied and received a US credit card

I have applied for job transfers to the US

We have emails about us inquiring about houses in the US

I have e-mails about me asking how to break the lease of my car because I am immigrating to the US

we also have moving quotes.

Is this enough? We don't have proof of a lease in the US or him having an offer letter because we are waiting on hearing back to see if we are approved post-interview.

I'd love to know your thoughts/experiences! I've heard Montreal is pretty tough but I will be honest with them about what our intent was when my husband came here to Canada and unfortunately, we suffered a huge loss so, plans changed.

Does he have any family or friends that can write a letter saying you can reside at their home? Just so they know you have a place to live until you find a place? I think that would be good enough proof.

His domicile is his parent's house address, they are also our co-sponsors financially. So would a letter still be needed?
