So my fiancé was approved for the visa we are waiting for the visa to be issued today I log in on the web to check the status and it change from ready to AP is this normal? Or should I be worried?

Same with me here in Ghana.. I think its normal but every country has different waiting times...so it varies how long he might be in AP..it might be a few days to a few weeks.. The most important thing is to be patient and will be fine..pls keep me updated when u see any updates

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I too was worried and asked the same question as you. You can see the responses here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/607298-visa-approved-yesterday-but-ceac-status-says-administrative-processing/

It is normal and you have nothing to worry about.

Although i still cant help but worry a little :) It has been 2 days for me so far in AP.

Same here, I applied on Aug 22 with Muscat (Oman) US Embassy for renewal of my B1/B2 Visa. The fellow said it will go for further verification however, good chances (not guranttee) are that I will get it back before Sep 10 (the time to my travel). 1st time AP took 7 months in my case.
