I have searched and searched this forum but have not found a clear answer for this situation.

My situation is that I am the USC and have been living abroad with my fiancé for a bit longer than 2 years. We are working on gathering all the paperwork for the I-129F packet, but stuck with showing proof as silly as this sounds. I am wondering what kind of proof did others provide who are filing from abroad and live with their fiancé (ie. see on a daily basis)?? Providing pictures is not a problem for us. However, the airline itineraries/boarding passes/passport stamps I have are all from more than 2 years ago when I first traveled here. Does it matter that the dates are from more than 2 years ago?

What other kinds of documentation can be provided for this situation, if typical hotel receipts, train/bus tickets, etc. do not exist?
(Also, all of our apartment documentation does not include our names but rather, the owner of the apartment, so this is not an option of "proof".)

Also, does it need to be explained somewhere that we currently live together, or is having the same address listed on the G-325a forms obvious enough? I mentioned it in our statement about having met in the past 2 years but that is it.

Thank you for any advice and help! =)

What country are you both residing in?

Do you get utility bills to your house in both/either names? Those'll be good, so you can show matching addresses. Also, depending on your locality, you may have other "official" letters that come to your home with your shared address and names. Do you share a bank account? Insurance? Employment letters or educational documents?

The G-325a / your answer to the 2 year requirement should be obvious enough. :)

Thank you for your quick response and help!

We are residing in Chile.

All of our utility bills are in the name of the apartment owner. =( We only have our internet bill in my fiancé's name. Would all the documents need to list both names? Or can one be in my name and the other in his?

No - you can use some of each. It's not unusual for only one name to show on a bill - so long as you have some for both of you, with the same address, that should help.

I would get a statement from the owner of the apartment that you have been living there.

Pictures that show you together through the seasons would be pretty good.

Your passport stamps showing that you have been in Chili for the past two years should seal the deal. You probably have to send in copies of every passport page.
