Nothing wrong with bringing in a competitor and the quicker the better. Monopolies are not good for business in general.

I had one of these back around 2000 when I went to an allergist once a week for around 14 years because of my allergies. I paid $40.00 per pen!

We live in a country where you see a new state of the art medical building on just about every street corner, Every other commercial says: Ask your doctor what (fill in the blank) can do for you and most of us are paying 10 to 20% of our yearly pay for medical insurance! Medical science used to be about helping mankind and now its how to profit from mankind! This is capitalism are its worst! Big pharma says that insurance will cover it, well what does the insurance company do, raise their rates to the little guy!

I know a company can charge whatever it wants for its product BUT when it is a life or death drug and you have a monopoly on it, the government needs to step in at some point and put on some type of regulation. Raising the price of a band aid is one thing but a life saving drug is totally different! $600 here in the USA and anywhere else in the world its $100. The government did not give the go ahead for a couple of the competitors drug because it did not pass their requirements or did the lobbyists get to them!

correct me if I am wrong...and you will...but I remember that drug pricing was taken off the Obamacare table to get big pharma away from derailling it. Pharma as a whole has seen an increase in revenue from more insured

You have a vial that is sealed and a clean syringe....fine for a medical pro to execute on a quick basis but the epipen was great for the rest of us who do not know how to use syringes and keep it clean.
