2 months since interview... Now what?

Long story short. Applied for ROC last year. Received RFE this year and responded. (Sent everything I had.. Birth certificate, bank account, health insurance and pics) also had lawyer every step of the way. I had a interview 2 months ago. I was told a decision would be made within a few weeks. I still haven't heard anything. Should I be worried? How long does it take for them to make a decision after the interview?

I would give them 90 days.

However, if you are still married you can apply for citizenship which would force them to adjudicate your ROC. Is the N-400 a possibility for you?

I wouldnt give the USCIS anymore time, 1 1/2 years waiting is way over due. You need to apply for your citizenship. These people seem to be so over loaded with work, and if that is the case, they should be hiring more people, and open up a few more offices. Two offices one in Vermont and one in California, thats a joke considering the amount of immigrants in this country applying and waiting for various processes.

Sometimes the length of time for our government is not a matter of patience its a matter of this agency doing their job. Good luck, and like Cheezes said, if you can apply for citizenship I would do it fast, dont let the USCIS make you wait any longer, that time frame is ridiculous

You can contact your senator or ombudsman. They tend to get the ball rolling. As rjgacek said, the time frame is ridiculous.

Giselle.MeChelle I had mine in the first week of June and I was told to wait 30 days. Nothing yet. Have you tried a service request? I tried and I was given some hollow response that My case is still pending and they are unable to give me a timeframe. Now it is 74 days since the interview. This sucks.

Now I havent tried anything yet. I'm just truing to be patient and tell my self a delay is NOT a denial. Another user mentioned that hey have 120 days to make a decision. Where can I find official information about timelines?
