I sent inappropriate pictures to USCIS by mistake. What can I do?

A very interesting mistake! Not appropriate but should not be reason for non approval. They just might be smiling and whispering to each other a little when you guys are at the interview!

Don't worry, Homeland security and the British counterpart monitor all phone and video conversations and could not wait for my wife and I to start talking naughty to each other when we were separated for months at a time and i'm pretty sure they also made some copies of our Skype videos too.

As above - what you do in your own time is your business and no one else's.

Some couples are into some pretty odd stuff but again, it's their business and everyone has a right to do as they please.

So if nothing illegal as such is happening in the photos I really wouldn't worry. Sending in a letter of apology looks suspect - what are you apologising for? Having a sexual relationship with your partner?

Forget it happened... Cross the bridge if it ever comes to it.

The thing is, the pictures are not of him with his fiance, the pictures are of his fiance with ANOTHER person. Trying to prove a bonafide relationship when they have an open relationship may be difficult to explain.

OP: You need to tell your fiancé. Beyond that though I find it curious that you are upset with the USCIS seeing them, but not upset that your brother's studio saw them/developed them. Hrm. I hope the OP comes back eventually and lets us know the results. How fast was the approval, and what did the consulate say in the end..?

My only suggestion is to do a stop payment on the check. They will return your entire application if there's no filing fee.

I agree with the above statement. The person interviewing me also took a quick look at the pictures during my interview so if she doesn't know she's in for a surprise...

That's why I suggested they leave the situation as it is and explain their relationship, as long as the activities are legal and consensual then I don't think it would be right for them to be denied based upon their sexual activities.

If the package has already been opened and the photos seen then trying to have them returned could be seen as trying to hide something.
