I watched the app based "what now" episodes. They're like 10-30 minute updates. Not that great honestly.

Are they about the current couples or past couples from the show?

I love it when Danielle visits her and Mohammed's common friend to try to convince him that Mohammed is a bad person.. She starts yelling stuff like "I know he cheated on me! He had sex with me ONCE! Where did he get sex from the rest of the time?!?!" and their friend looks soooooo guilty. He should've just come clean right then and there: "It was me. I slept with Mohammed".

:jest: That Tom dude is a weird one

Past couples from various seasons.  But no real drama or anything.

Usually the show is 2 hours from 8-10 EST.  But last night, it was only 1 hour from 8-9, but then it repeated 10-12 for 2 hours.  I watched the first one .  I DVR'd the second.

Chantel and Pedro... the families hate each other.  Funny how Pedro's family is telling Chantel to divorce him if she's not happy now that he has his green card.  I wonder what they would have advised before he had the green card.  And Chantel is like Jorge, love struck.  Pedro can do no wrong.  And he knows it, that's why he threw the green card at her knowing she would not let him go.

His mother and "sister" are such ungrateful little witches (I had another word in mind).  Chantel came to apologize to his mother for her family's behavior at grandma's house (where they wouldn't get out of the van and then left) in her terrible Spanish (verbs should be conjugated Señorita).  The mother asked what happened and as soon as Chantel started with the "your son sends you a lot of money" the "sister" starts telling the mother "same stuff over and over.  she wants you to live under a bridge".  These lowlifes don't understand why she is pissed and think they deserve all they are getting and more.  They don't want a little help, they want it all, and couldn't care any less that Chantel and Pedro live in a studio kitchen/bathroom.  They are like spoiled children.   Irritating.

Daniele is her comical self.  She has "mixed emotions" about the annulment.  Yeah, because the stupid witch is still in love with Mohammad.  Her brother in law was right when he said that if Mohammad would tell her to give it another shot she would run over the whole family to get to him.  Obsessed stalker.  Also, she had to call Mohammad the day before "to tell him to act civil" in court.  Riiiight, because most divorcing couples give each other advise on how to present themselves better in court.  This woman has severe mental problems.  Are any of her kids minors?  Maybe child services needs to look into her situation.  And I don't want to hear the words "Social Media" out of her mouth again, it makes me cringe.

Paola is just a sad case.  She wants to be a "model", but I'm not sure that she knows what that means.  She got her first job offer, to be in a music video.  Is that modeling?  And the agent STILL hasn't gotten her anything.  That lady just seems like a total scuzball.  Some new Raeggatton group contacted her directly through Facebook.  Russ pointed that out to her that that's not normal and whether she vetted these people before accepting to go to New Jersey for the "job".  Usually, he's way overprotective, but I think he has a point here.  She just laughed like the moron that she is, like it's no big deal.  What kind of "model" does she want to be?  I'm guessing that she'll slowly transition into porn and he'll be ok with it because he's a push over and will follow her no matter what she does.  He's already changing his career for her.

And that networking event that her agent invited her to, have you ever seen a sorrier looking group of "models".  And the millionaires, producers, directors, that were supposed to be there... they looked like Johns looking to pick up "working girls".  Unfortunately, looks like this will be the kind of modeling that she can look forward to.

Jorge is another desperate and sad case.  He's STILL completely infatuated with Anfisa.  She threw him out on the street, hasn't responded to any calls, finally (after over a month agreed to meet), and he's shopping for a "nice gift" to take him back.  A bag of money would make her more happy so she could get more botox (at age 20????) and duck lip treatments.

And Anfisa's friend could worse than she is.  This woman is UGLY, kind of looks like a tranny a little, and all tatted up.  And she's filling Anfisa's head with all sorts of nonsense how she can get better guy really fast.  One with more money that will buy her everything.  This woman is as much of a gold digger as Anfisa.  And it's troubling the way she asks Anfisa questions related to Jorge.  "Are you still in love with him?  You still care about him a little right?"   It's been only a month and this witch is almost hinting that Anfisa should no longer be in love with Jorge.   And Anfisa made a very telling comment when she was laying by the pool with her pal.  Paraphrasing it's "I love laying out by the pool.  This is what I thought my life would be more like".  Basically, Jorge filled her head with these fantasies that she'll be laying out by the pool all day, getting cosmetic surgery, and go shopping whenever and for whatever.  I blame him for her attitude as much as him.  He really did deceive her.  It seems that he's broke, and in a decent amount of debt.

The bracelet he was buying for her looks like something a hooker would wear.  It's a wide bracelet fill with "diamonds" for $300.  A bunch of CZ, real diamonds like that would cost 100K.  I don't think our favorite gold digger will be happy with a bunch of fake diamonds.  I like that his friend Ramone is trying to help, but he's in over his head.  Jorge needs a psychiatrist.  Also, something tells me that Ramone is not just Jorge's friend, he's also a client.  Probably his best client.

I know the episodes are available on Amazon, but I'm not sure if they are Prime eligible. The current 'season' being discussed on this thread now is technically a spin-off (called 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?) featuring a follow up of couples from various previous seasons. Notable couples often discussed on this thread include Danielle and her husband Mohamed from Tunisia (season 2), Russ and his wife Paola from Colombia (season 1), and several season 4 couples including Anfisa (Russia) and Jorge, and Chantel and Pedro (Dominican Republic). A few of the couples from earlier seasons still seem to be in normal, healthy relationships, but at the same time you can tell a lot of the couples were selected to be on the show because the producers knew that there would be a drama/entertainment factor. I also think that the producers create additional drama to provide additional story lines for some couples, such as Loren and Alexie (Israel) from season 3. While I feel bad for Loren and her having to cope and live with Tourettes, it's one of the only things that they ever discuss in their segments, and personally I find them kind of boring and whiny and I'm fairly sure they are being made to talk about it on the show because it's the only interesting thing about them.

The show is kind of interesting to me because I started watching it around season 3 just as I started dating my long distance fiance, who is now my husband. Then season 4 featured a couple with a fiance from Morocco (where my now husband is from). This couple (Nicole and Azan) is another interesting but kind of depressing train-wreck though...Like everyone else, I just watch the show for the drama now. I'm hoping that season 5 will begin in the fall with some new couples to follow.

What's the title of the second one? Our AT&T guide is messed up, it just shows 90 day fiancé, no title difference between the new and old shows. Ugh!

The second one was the same one hour 90 day fiancée that they showed earlier, and the second hour was the premiere of that new spinoff show "Before 90 day fiancée".  Our guide channel also just called it 90 day fiancée, no distinction between the shows.

I will try to watch both and provide weekly updates.  You can say it.  I need a hobby.  LOL

Yes.  It doesn't meet as exciting but I can already see the trains coming directly towards each other on the same track.

I started a new thread so we don't mix it up.  LOL

@Eric-Pris

I feel like Pedro's family was more than founded to no longer want to listen to Chantel. But, had they been civil about the whole thing it could have solved a lot of issues. I really don't think he used her for a green card. I think they're both naive and married each other for looks. I mean they can barely communicate! I don't know what's worse- her Spanish or his English.

Russ describing reggaeton videos was probably one of the most awkward and hilarious things I've seen in a while. And while i do feel like he's a bit conservative, it's up to every couple to decide on boundaries. His is lengerie, which is fine. But it already looks like she's going to keep doing whatever she wants. At least that awful man, Juan, is gone.

Can't wait to watch the *other* spinoff! I'll watch it on my next layover in Chicago:)

Pedro's mother is a total scammer. She doesn't give a rat's ### about Chantel or her feelings, all she cares about is that Pedro now has a greencard, can work in the US and support her and that extremely dumb sister of his. The mother and the sister would love it if Pedro divorced Chantel, they don't like her one bit and only wants the money, which they can get with or without Chantel in the picture. The funny thing is that Pedro still has NO IDEA. He still thinks his mother is the best thing since sliced bread and that she can do no wrong. He has no idea what his mother is up to even though she's so extremely see-through to the rest of us. Both him and his sister could do well with some more braincells, poor, dumb kids. The mother is smarter, she knows exactly how to control Pedro and get what she wants, and she comes up with all these small sneaky things like serving chicken feet not even she herself wants to eat just to be a  and then pretend she did nothing wrong. Total scammer right there, the word doesn't even cover half of it, haha.

I loved it when Chantel brought out the inner ghetto in her and went all like "wh*re-b*tch-sl*t-wh*re!".

Thought it was funny that Paola made a huge deal about moving to Miami because that's where models all live, etc. But she's been there a month or more and the only job she's had that's remotely close to modeling was in.... New Jersey!

Now I'm a chubby bird myself and I don't agree with models looking half-starved but I do think Paola is too chunky (particularly in the thighs) to be a fashion model. Plus, she's 30! She's competing against 17-year-olds with fresh faces who don't need to color their hair for these "jobs". Seriously I think the only work she can find will be very sleazy stuff. She won't be in the Paris fashion shows.

Exactly!! Also her so called manager seems on the shady/sleazy side. She won't be getting quality work, more like soft porn i'd bet. She is so desperate to model, she will take any gig, that wont bode well for her marriage at all.

Most of the episode was spent on the boring (aka Normal) couple- Alex & Loren.  Loren gives a speech to "hundreds" (looked like maybe 50?) of people at some Tourette's thing.  It wasn't interesting at all.

So Paolo went and wore lingerie, even though that's the ONE thing Russ told her not to do.

Chantel & Pedro are finally realizing that their families are way too involved in their relationship.  The only way they will survive is by not listening to them.

The show dilly-dallied around Danielle & Mohammed for an entire episode, and nothing took place.  Hopefully they'll get to the trial next episode.  They've been "preparing" for the trial for the entire season it seems like.
