Chantel's brother is a dousche. And again, why is it so important what he thinks of who his sister marries. There's some weird stuff going on there. Am I the only one who thiks that? And why do Chantel and her brother (2 adults) still call their parents "mommy and daddy".:rofl:  I almost fell off the chair when they said "prenuptual agreement". To protect all her millions? Maybe they think that it will disuade him from wanting to marry her. Pedro is really calm though when they blame him for the lies. I would have told them all at that first time they found out that this whole thing was HER idea. And I would make her confess the same.

Jorge is a tool. He's just needy and desperate. Anfisa is a narcissistic gold-digger, and pretty much worthless as a wife. But at least she's honest. She told him right to his face that she is only with him because he can buy her things. She could not have been any clearer. And his reply was asking how he can make her happy. If that were most of us in his place, we would leave her sitting there in that restaurant. So then he asked her a very telling question, that if something happened to him and he couldn't work and buy her those things, she would leave him. And again, she pretty much confirmed that she would. The next episode preview shows him begging her not to leave. Again, what a tool!

Danielle is the most deperate person that I have ever seen. I would have bet the farm that she would pull the annulment. Probably better for her anyway, cheaper. She can't keep the lights on, how is she going to pay for an annulment? And she's still clinging to the idea that they can be together. He even canvinces her that they can be "friends". But the moment she pulled the annulment, she will never see him again. And while pulling the annulment, she didn't fule a divorce thinking they could be together. My guess is that he will file first. She'll only see him on "social media", until he blocks her. And at the end, they showed how next week she goes to Miami to visit her friend and he won't take car calls and threatened to file a restraining order if she keeps harassing him. And at the end, she says in typical Danielle fashion.... "he lied":rofl:  :rofl::rofl:

Alexei is another tool. His family and friends "need" him. So he's so confused, I don't know why. His friends aren't really his friends if they want to stand in his way to be happy.

I know why, but they choose these desperate, needs, moronic people. I guess crazy=ratings.

I agree the whole thing with Alexie's friends is weird. Just because he didnt personally come to each persons house to say he was leaving for the US, they wont come to his wedding?? Loren is being treated unfairly, even though i didnt like her at first, guess she has grown on me. Alexie better do the right thing and go back with Loren and her parents.

Does anyone else think Devar and Melanie are boring? The whole recap of their K1 visa was unneccesary. Melanie was to Jamaica 19 times and only met his one sister? Something doesnt add up, the sisters she met seemed a bit odd. He seems sneaky or something, cant quite put my finger on it.

Nicole will be another Danielle, even though Azan doesnt seem as much as a scammer as Mohammed. It seems Azan is enjoying his new found fame on Twitter with his half naked photos..............

I was pretty creeped out when Devar's sister kept CACKLING about Melanie paying for things. She might as well have just come out and said "You're a SUCKER, white lady!"

I felt bad for Loren when Alexei's "friends" were telling her they blame her for Alexei leaving, but good for Loren for at least trying to stand up for herself. For all of the guilt she has been carrying around about having Alexei so far from his family, she certainly doesn't need any of Alexei's "friends" to be rubbing her nose in the dirt - SHAME ON ALEXEI for not sticking up for his wife against that trollop. And Alexei clearly didn't practice "quality-not-quantity" when it came to friends...it's clear that he had so many "friends" he obviously didn't care enough about to say goodbye to or keep in touch with...why expect those people to show up at your second wedding a year later? Boneheads.

I, too, thought it was hilarious that Chantel and her brother, River, still call their parents Mommy and Daddy...grow up! Chantel's dodging all responsibility for her own actions just really ticks me off. I just want to reach through the screen and slap some maturity across her face.

Jorge is utterly pathetic. He deserves whatever he squeezes out of stone-cold Anfisa.

And I'm ashamed to say this, but I felt REALLY bad for Danielle when she was bursting into tears as reality finally was catching up to her....but then she ran away from reality again and I went back to smdh.

Yea. Obviously when Mel visited they stayed on the resort the majority of the time. You would think if she truly visited 19 times she would know his family, JA customs, and culture much better. I visited only 7 times and met his friends, mother, aunts, uncles, cousins, brother, niece, nephew, neighbors several times over. Sex seems to be their connection. Some thing is off about them.

I do not understand the issue with Alexii family and friends. My husband and I spent 3 days running from one end of JA to the other to see what family and friends we could before he left. Some of his friends came to where we were just so they could see him before we left. Not one person, not one, has said anything like what Alexiis friends are saying. They are all happy for him and tell him his life is with his wife now. It blows my mind that Alexiis family and friends can't comprehend that. Those "childhood female friends" seem just completely jealous of Loren.

It's amazing how quickly this entertaining thread devolved into shaming women for not being the proper weight and not adhering to people's ideals of beauty. To the people slamming Nicole for her weight - just stop. Seriously. To the people slamming Anfisa for her looks - she is 20! Do you know how heartbreaking it is for a 20yr old to be so upset by how she looks that she went through all that plastic surgery? This is not someone to be mocked, but someone who I hope finds therapy. Yes, she is likely gold digging - but that is no cause to berate her because she isn't as pretty as she should be. Judge people on their actions and on their character - not their looks.

When I see a RUB chic that looks like Nicole the we can talk.

I'm wondering if Chantel's parents somehow signed the I-134 thinking it was about providing an apartment or something? Like they're taking on an exchange student who happens to be their daughter's boyfriend? Which means the lie could be much bigger and now (in theory) their businesses are at risk? That's all I got.

Marriage/ AOS Timeline:

23 Dec 2015: Legal marriage

23 Jan 2016: Wedding!

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. (L)

16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

23 Apr 2016: Wedding! Finally! :luv:

27 Apr 2016: Electronic NOA1 for all 3 :dancing:
29 Apr 2016: NOA1 Hardcopy for all 3
29 Jul 2016: Online service request for late EAD (Day 104)
29 Jul 2016: EAD/AP Approved ~3 hours after online service request
04 Aug 2016: RFE for Green Card (requested medicals/ vaccination record. They already have it). :ranting:
05 Aug 2016: EAD/AP Combo Card arrived! (Day 111)
08 Aug 2016: Congressional constituent request to get guidance on the RFE. Hoping they see they have the form and approve!

K-1 Visa Timeline:

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

14 Feb 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox. (L) (Most expensive Valentine's card I've ever sent!)

17 Feb 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"
19 Feb 2015: NOA1 Notice Date
08 Aug 2015: NOA2 email! :luv: (173 days from NOA1)

31 Aug 2015: Left NVC for Consulate in San Jose

09 Sep 2015: Consulate received :dancing: (32 days from NOA2)

11 Sep 2015: Packet 3 emailed from embassy to me, the petitioner (34 days from NOA2).

18 Sep 2015: Medicals complete

21 Sep 2015: Packet 3 complete, my boss puts a temporary moratorium on all time off due to work emergency :clock:

02 Oct 2015: Work emergency clears up, interview scheduled (soonest available was 5 business days away--Columbus Day was in there)

These aren't ordinary couples on VJ. No one would say a word about them then without some major backlash.

These couples chose to be on television and are getting paid for it and should be expected to be judged accordingly. You don't want to be criticized for your weight or your lip injections? Don't do reality tv.

I 134 is unenforceable.

Yes, I know that. They may not. They may also resent the fact that this lie is putting them in a position to sign the real affidavit of support or keep this guy around unable to work, or essentially send him home, with Chantel perhaps assuming that they'd do it, not understanding that she could be exposing them to real risk.

I think that the 'Spanish teacher' that introduced them and helped her look for an apt may have co sponsored on the affidavit. She mentions the Spanish teacher in their casting tape.

I bet it's because they all secretly wanted Alexei's hot model-body for themselves...guys and girls both...lol

I thought the same exact thing. Maybe it's a cultural thing. Most people realize you grow up, go off to college, marry, have children....life changes. Sorry Alexei cannot meet you everyday at 3pm in the school yard.

I'm a bit confused about Chantel and Pedro. I saw online that those are not their real names. Do they use fake names for this show?

It's also weird how both Chantel and her brother refer to their parents as "mommy and daddy." Her brother assumes Pedro put her up to lying, and it doesn't seem that Chantel was going to fess up that it was her idea all along.

I don't see in any fashion or form how Nicole and Azan will ever work out. The cultural and religious differences are too much, and neither can seem to find common ground. If they've had this many issues thus far I can't imagine how they will handle any issues that comes along with marriage. She's just so immature...Seeing how he is on the show and how his Twitter page is, I can't believe it's really him on Twitter. He doesn't strike me as saying things like "haters gonna hate."

Jorge acted like he was all hurt when Anfisa straight up told him her true intentions. I liked her honesty and the way she threw it back at him when she asked if he'd still like her if she were fat and ugly. I can't fault her for actually coming clean about being a gold-digger. Jorge is getting what he deserves if she chooses to stay with her.

Alla had to compromise her dream wedding on the beach because Matt was already married at the beach, and his family couldn't afford to make the trip. She could have had a beach wedding with just her and Matt and Max, and then had another ceremony/reception back in KY. She must really love Matt to tolerate his overbearing family.
