The intention was laudable, but the action was up there with the Darwin Awards. I wonder if he was also a bit on the drunk side, but apart from wrestling the keys away from a drunk, or otherwise detaining them, never, and I mean never lie down in front of a car driven by a drunk.

A man was run over and killed after lying down in front of a car to keep a drinking friend from leaving his birthday party at a San Diego hotel.

Jonathan Merkley and his friends were drinking at the Staybridge Suites when a female partygoer tried to leave, Officer Robert Heims from the San Diego Police Department toldKTLA.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

No doubt! Non-political topics don't stand much of a chance here in the CEHST forum at this time. I have been in Russia the past couple of weeks visiting family, and everyone asks me about Trump vs Hillary. Not sure if it is the Trump factor, or Hillary being the first major party female candidate, but there is a lot of interest in this election at least in my anecdotal experience. They seem to be more for Trump, so maybe they know something.

Russia is the only country where folks are not appalled by a Trump presidency. I wonder what they know.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.
