Do I need to disclose this 20 year old misdemeanor for K1 visa (Im petitioner)

all I would recommend don't be afraid.. its just a petty offense which is at very low category and it happened 20 years ago.. you are not going to be in trouble at all.. you will surely get the visa as long everything else is n place..

I was super nervous too but then hiding my arrest would put in more trouble.. its just not this visa.. when you apply your citizenship they will open your file again and go through everything again and if they find out anyone lied they can deport back.. so its very serious.. my attorney told me mention each detail and specially in current political environment they just need a reason.. now at least they have all my record and I have nothing to fear..
