Hi all,

I just received the biometrics receipt for my I751 petition dated Mar 09.

My letter looks like a 5 year old was playing around with it. It is not only folded like 10 times but was also stapled once through the whole envelope. The envelope doesn't wear the Homeland of security seal like all the other correspondence we received 2 years ago carried - there is only a simple sticker with the address typed on it. The letter was also only sealed by a cross of two clear tape strips.

Did you all receive such primitive mailings?

BTW, the receipt number of course doesn't work for the USCIS status online.

That is weird... I receive the extention NOA and the biometrics appointment in the same type of envelope, perfectly identifyed as from USCIS.

Maybe your letter was delivered in another address by mistake and they give it back to the mail after opening it.

I think is still better that you have received it in that bad shape than not to receive it at all.

That would add more time to the process. Did you receive it on time to be punctual to your biometrics apointment?

Hey Tweety

My biometrics letter wasnt in that bad of shape, but that is the exact letter i received.

a receipt for the biometrics. and of course the receipt number doesnt work for me on the USCIS site either. I am beginning to wonder about these NOA's

im still not sold on the information the USCIS customer service lady gave me, about not sending out NOA's anymore. I received my bio receipt about a week after the checks were cashed then nothing. keep me informed if you happen to receive an NOA with extention.

I-751 package mailed 9 FEB 2007

checks cashed 15 Feb 2007

biometrics receipt reference number received 23 FEB 2007

called USCIS customer service on 22 Mar 2007 (was told they dont mail receipts anymore ) hummmmm

25 March still waiting for answers on NOA's

What I received was the receipt for the $70 biometrics services fee, not the biometrics appointment.

And I don't think I would be happy if anyone would open my mail....

Mark, I really hope TSC still sends NOAs out. I need it to renew my drivers license....

Did your letter for the biometrics receipt not have the seal printed on it too?

Hey Tweety

I didnt receive a biometrics appointment yet. What i received was a receipt for the payment of my 70.00 dollars for the biometrics. It had white lable on it with the SRC number... and of course it doesnt work on the USCIS website.

I am still waiting for a Biometrics appointment as well as a NOA if they still exist.

My wife is in the same boat. she needs to renew her Drivers License also. The Lady at USCIS seemed pretty sure of herself... that they dont send NOA's anymore because of a new process. I still dont believe it. However... seems that nobody that has filed from mid FEB 2007 forward is getting NOA's from TSC. or at least they havent shared saying they have received one. If i dont receive something in the next week i will attempt to call again.

As always i will let you know the moment i get anything.. or let me know if you receive something first.

Oh wow, you just described the exact condition of the biometrics fee receipt we just received in the mail yesterday. Maybe ours were in the same batch. My husband thought somebody might have opened it, but I pointed out that the enveloped hadn't been sealed and was taped and had a staple through it... what's going on at TSC?

 Sorry, but comparing your timeline with mine I'd still have a good 1-2 weeks for the NOA and biometrics appointment to show up in the mailbox. What makes you think there is something "not right" with my case regarding my timeline?

Hey JLR thanks for the time line... I noticed that you have filed one week before I did. If there is a change i wonder if you were one of the cases that slipped through the change and you NOA got typed. All I can do is continue to wait.

we will see how tweety and Abygail fair out. Hopefully they receive theirs so we without letters can raise the BS flag..
